The Timeless Wonder of Telangana Since the time it was built, Golconda Fort has been the pride of Hyderabad and Telangana. Situated at a distance of only 11 Km from Hyderabad, the fort is famous for its impenetrable structure and is easily accessible for all tourists. The fort is considered as a hallmark of excellence in military architecture. Golconda Fort is one of the grandest forts in India, built in the 13th century by Kakatiyas, it was just a Mud fort at the start, but was later expanded and reconstructed into a fort which, with its sheer size, has become the supreme of all. The fort is built on a granite hill of height 120 m. which gave it the advantage of high grounds during wars.
Escape into the long ancient corridors of the Golkonda Fort Golconda actually consists of 4 forts with a common outer boundary. The fort is of prime importance in the history of Telangana with regards to Aurangzeb’s succession over the Deccan region. The fort was previously ruled by the Qutub Shahi dynasty. The long corridors in the forts make for an ideal spot for a small picnic for all.
History & attractions One of the famous landmarks of Hyderabad, Golconda fort will take you far back into a time when kings ruled, battles were fought and history was created. It was from here that the world’s biggest diamonds came from which included the Kohinoor, Darya-e-noor, Regent and Hope. In 1686, the Mughal prince Aurangzeb started to lay siege on the fort of Golconda, with the intent of claiming Hyderabad, the wealthy capital of the Qutub Shahi dynasty
Today, even after almost 800 years, the fort still stands as one of Hyderabad’s greatest architectural wonders. One of its greatest engineering marvels is the fantastic acoustic effects: one handclap at a certain point below the entrance dome can be heard at the highest point of the pavilion almost a kilometer away. The important structures inside the citadel or balahissar are the imposing Silai Khana ( a three-storied Aslah Khana– armoury building), Nagina bagh, guard lines, Akkanna-Madanna Offices, Ramdas Jail, Darbar hall, ruins of Ambar khana, Baradari on the summit, an inner cordon wall, and a Masjid raised by Ibrahim Qutub Shah (1550-1580 AD)
Hence, Golconda Fort, Hyderabad has become one of the primary tourist attractions due to its beautiful architecture and significance. It derives a great number of visitors every year from different regions of the world and India of the world and India.

Heartily welcomed by the real estate sector, this move will help keep a check on corruption and black money movement thus making the entire system more reliable and transparent. It will help in making the Indian property market more attractive for the global investors.

Experts and analysts have been predicting a fall in prices of houses after the Central Gov-ernment’s decision to demonetize old Rs500 and Rs1,000 notes, but builders have ruled out any such cuts. They, however, said that buyers will benefit from these cuts in banks’ interest rates on home loans and offers to attract buyers.
With the Telangana government announcing plans to develop Hyderabad as a global city, the real estate developers expect a decent percentage of increase in the prices over next coming months.
According to the Confederation of Real Estate Developers of India (CREDAI), the prices in Hyderabad increased by 10 percent during the last few months and it expects this trend to continue and grow.
“Based on the present rock bottom prices, our expectation is that prices will increase by 40 to 50 percent in six to eight months,” said CREDAI national president C. Shekhar Reddy.
“This will definitely happen because of the increase in input costs, taxation and inflation. There has to be some connection between Hyderabad and it’s neighboring metro cities like Chennai and Bangalore and when this connection takes place the prices will go up,” he said at a press conference.

Hyderabad Real Estate rates to increase significantly according to CREDAI
Mr. Reddy, however, said that this gradual increase in prices would benefit all stake-hold-ers. He said that they do not believe in speculative market and pointed out that during the boom time, only few people made money by indulging in speculation.
The CREDAI chief said he believes with the world-class infrastructure like international airport, outer ring road and metro, Hyderabad is in the forefront to emerge as a global city.
He also referred to the plans of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government to improve Brand Hyderabad, prepare a new master plan, develop Information Technology and In-vestment Region (ITIR), satellite townships and special clusters for various sectors.
S. Ram Reddy, general secretary, CREDAI, Hyderabad, said that even with 50 percent hike, they would not be able to reach the break even. He said that during the last few months the developers suffered heavily due to demonetization & uncertainty and were forced to sell the projects at low prices.
