This proposed project aims to reform and convert

the building situated in the street called Calle Bastió

Berard and the square called Plaza d'en Llorenç

Villalonga into a city hotel.

The proposed project plans the typological maintenance

of the walls of the original building which fronts the

street Bastió d'en Berard and a newly constructed

building fronting the Llorenç Villalonga square.

The two buildings will communicate by means of a

courtyard where the lifts that give access to the different

levels of the building are located. The plan constitutes

38 double rooms and associated services of this hotel

facility, reception, management offices and seating

areas will be on the ground floor which is accessed

by the Bastió d'en Berard street, service areas, café and

dining room will be on the ground floor of the building

on the Plaza Llorenç Villalonga and the sun terrace with

pool and bar on the roof of the new building with views

towards the bay.

The intention is to respect and maintain the original

building and to construct a new one facing the sea with

connotations of contemporary architecture.

The interior also seeks to exude maximum comfort with

top of the range installations that will also up-grade the

value of the historic character of the building being

preserved.

This planned urban hotel aims to fulfill the

request of the sector that is so efficiently contributing

to the rehabilitation of the district named Calatrava.
