1. Class description: - 25 10th grade students, 3 boys and 22 girls, Class 11-A, Nguyen Binh Khiem high school.

Time: 45 minutes3.Objectives: Skills: After the lesson, Ss able to: + Develop such reading micro skills as scanning for specific information ( apply in exercise of T, F). + Guess the meaning in the context. + Improve group work skills. Language: By the end of the lesson, Ss able to + understand the history of the Asian Games and the purpose of developing intercultural knowledge and friendship within Asia.

+ Use the information they have read to discuss the related topic.4. Assumed knowledge: + Ss have studied how to scan a reading text to find specific information and guess meaning in the context + Ss have already known about some new words related to the topic 5. Anticipated problems: + There may be time left (solution: The teacher has already prepared

extra reading exercise for Ss.)

+ There is lack of time (solution: Cut down the activity).

+ Some Ss may not have a wide range of vocabulary, or students do not

know the new words (solution: teacher can give some suggestions to help them elicit the words).
