Procedures

Teacher will select two stories at the classroom reading level from the scholastic online

Teacher will allow story to be displayed on the whiteboard and ask the students to read out load.

Teacher will use functions on the whiteboard to highlight main and supporting ideas and key vocabulary.

Assessment Teacher will allow students to do a 6 minute

free writing in their student writing journals on giving their own fictional accounts on what happens next in the story.
