1. READI JIP as a digital transformation project

o There are three main features to characterize a project as a digital transformation project:

oUse of new technology

oChanging work processes

oNew business model – the way projects pay, can change

o The READI JIP is transformational and a frontrunner within theinternational oil and gas industry with regards to digitalization

o Use of the W3C OWL 2 direct semantics standard, enabling use of artificialintelligence

o We combine cloud solution, software as a service, with ontology features

o We’re building the most advanced O&G reference data library, enablingartificial intelligence

o We’re building the most advanced O&G digital requirement method

Digital transformation – changing work processes

o READI transforms exchange of requirements and deliveries of information

o READI enables instant seamless flow of information between actors

o READI enables automatically quality assurance of information

o READI includes and improves the entire value- and supply chain

o READI JIP enables new business models – how projects pay

o READI new business models can be:

oREADI service can offer services with different payment

o Purchase a requirement set for a single project

o Purchase subscription of total READI service as a annual fee

2. Digitalization of datasheets – what happens then?

o A datasheet today is a document with attributes

o The attributes in a datasheet are both technical requirements and productinformation

o READI digitalize these attributes into single attributes, being machinereadable

o Then two things happens:o We have digitalized product information (LCI deliveries)o In addition we have also digitalized technical requirements

o Conclusion: READI also enables machine readable digital design basis

Potential impact of what READI demonstrates

• Enabling an unbroken information value chain – from originator, through design and manufacturing, to the end user

• Opening up for automated engineering, letting computers do the tedious work, freeing up the minds to be creative and find good solutions

• Sharing of resources and knowledge that the industry have in common, and aligning on a common ‘language’ of how we speak requirements

In short: save cost & improve quality

What is a Xmas tree

• A very critical piece of equipment on top of the well

• A barrier towards the high reservoir/well pressure

• A means to control the production flow of oil&gas

• A safe interface into the well for doing interventions

TechnipFMC Xmas tree

Basically a xmas tree is a block with various valves and the means to actuate them, either through a remote control system or by means of ROV operation
