Directly addressing the readership• NME likes to add allot of facts in their readership profile. Facts

like expenditure for clothes, audio equipment, cameras DVD’s and many more. These facts are directly addressing the readers. This shows that on average the readers enjoy the things they read enough to buy products associated with this magazine. This should also tell them what kind of things to advertise. This is a great way to directly and clearly communicate with their readership. It also says here that the average reader is around age 24 and spends on

average £2000 on personal accessories. Putting this into a category but it shows that people are definitely spending.

Main Focus

• Their main focus for me is the look of the magazine, The collage of images may seem pointless but to many readers it is a collage of appealing , conspicuous objects used to draw the reader in. It also shows what the magazine is all in relation to

So it makes the information on this page more relevant.

Conveying the information

• I think the way they express their information is clearly relevant to the design of NME. Colourful and creative is the way to go. Again the fact aspect is a great way of telling the readers what you and your magazine are trying to achieve.
