    The Portfolio report provides you with detailed information for each account within your portfolio. It is a useful tool to review whenmeeting with your Investment Advisor. This report is available to you by request through your BMO Nesbitt Burns Investment Advisor

    General Information

    The as of date located in the top left corner of

    the report is the reporting date for theinformation in the report. The date displayedwill always be as at month-end.

    The Account linked to information has beendefined by you and/ or your Investment Advisor

    as the primary account for your portfolio. Allother accounts in your portfolio are linked tothis account.

    Questions? - The information displayed inthis box provides you with important contactdetails for your Investment Advisor and theirteam

    Overview of your portfol io

    Type - this column lists the type of accountsthat compose your portfolio. For BMO NesbittBurns Managed account types the programname has also been included.

    Value on x date this column(s) providesyou the previous and current market value foreach account within the group. This amountexcludes any accrued interest to be paid.

    Cash, Fixed Income, Equity displays thepercentage of asset class held within each

    account of your portfolio. This information isalso available in your BMO Nesbitt Burnsmonthly statement.

    Percent of total displays the overallweighting of your portfolio by account type.

    Total port folio value in Canadian $ totalseach of the columns to provide you with a sum.Totals are displayed in Canadian dollars.

    Exchange Rate on x date is the dailyexchange rate used in the above calculation.

    The information in this section provides youwith a breakdown of your portfoliodiversification. This includes 2 subsections,Type of investment (Cash, Fixed Income,Equity) and Geographic location* (Canadian,

    US, International)

    Cost value and Market value in eachinvestment type / geographic location issummarized for your portfolio

    Percent of total this is the percentage ofyour portfolio held in each investment type and/or geographic location

    Annualized income is the projected incomefor the next 12 months in each investment typeand/ or geographic location

    Yield is the annualized income / value toprovide you with the percentage of income thisinvestment type and/ or geographic location iscontributing

    *Geographic location section is optional for thisreport and is provided on request.

    Your transactions

    This section displays the most recent activity thathas occurred in each account for the reportingperiod. The information here is similar to thetransactions in your monthly statement for thesame time period.

    Opening transactions this chart provides youwith the details of any purchases that you havemade in your account (e.g. Canadian$ or US$).Both settled and non-settled transactions willdisplay.

    Closing transactions this chart provides youwith the details of sales in your account in thecurrency in which they were sold: Canadian orUS dollar.

    Date the trade date of the sale.

    Quantity the number of units soldDescription the asset nameCost price how much the asset cost attime of purchaseCost value the cost price X quantity soldSales price the cost of the asset at timeof saleExchange Rate and Cost value inCanadian dollars For example if the assetwas sold in US dollars it will be converted toCanadian dollars as at the daily exchangerate.Proceeds sales price X quantity sold

    Realized gain/loss value and percent difference between how much you spent tobuy the assets vs. how much you receivedwhen you sold it expressed in dollars and asa percent. If sale of USD asset, then therealized gain/loss value is presented in bothCAD and USD. Percent is presented againstthe USD proceeds.
