Everything we sell from clothes, tojewelry, to G.E.A.R. is ACTIVE! It may be sitting on your body, hanging from your shoulder, dangling from your ears or adorning your couch, but it is ACTIVELY bringing about change in the lives of the people behind it.

Very simply, Wonderfully Made’s model of social entrepreneurship hopes to provide an alternative income for boys and girls leaving trafficking situations.

Sustainable jobs are created by producing high quality products desired by Western Markets. Designed topositively impact every person who comes in contact with the company, Wonderfully Made creates “discussion piece” products that tell a story of hope.

With a desire to make a difference, this designer works with single moms right here in the US to handcraft beautiful jewelry.Through their employment with LuLu Rose, these single moms are able to work from home. They also have the flexibility their schedules so desperately need to take care of their children, while earning a good, steady income.

Re-Invention (R-I), a For-Benefit, lifestyle company has a global vision for world-wide change by supporting and creating employment-based solutions called social enterprises. G.E.A.R. (Go! Everyone, Everywhere And Re-Invent) is the newest project in the company’s efforts to play a role in breaking the chains of poverty.

Created and designed by Kellie Guthrie, G.E.A.R. is Re-Invention’s initiative to be involved in “Re-Inventing” within their community. Inspired by the single moms who work with Re-Invention and have helped to create G.E.A.R., goods will be produced in their local area and will employ single mothers. The goal is to create Sustainable Prosperity in their own community by designing and hiring from within it.

Using “beautiful works of art” from up-cycled coffee bean sacks in all of G.E.A.R.’s products, we believe these sacks represent our mission and passion. G.E.A.R. is the embodiment of what we desire to see for people whose lives have been affected by poverty and the forms of exploitation it brings. The sacks used in our designs come to us rough and worn…weary from their journey over oceans, mountains, and valleys. Once we get our hands on them, we unleash the beauty waiting to be revealed. The message we want to convey with G.E.A.R. is that beauty can regain its place in the lives of people whose circumstances have given them every reason to believe otherwise.

The first of “Fabulous” in the G.E.A.R. Home line are Handmade and One-of-a-Kind. Using “beautiful works of art” from the up-cycled coffee bean sacks as the pillow’s face; the backs and inside of the face are in fabrics of cool, crisp cotton in fun, bright calico prints, or vintage/luxury fabrics that look incredible against the rawness of the sacks.

Purposeful...looks fabulous! Definitely the perfect piece to hang in your closet for jewels and treasures. Or, display as you come in the door so reminders, school papers, notices will not be forgotten. The hooks are the perfect spot to never again ask,
