Is your data 5 Star?
Available on the web (whatever format), but with an open license Available as machine-readable structured data (e.g., excel instead of an image scan) As before, but using a non-proprietary format (e.g., CSV instead of excel) All the above, plus use open standards (RDF & Co.) to identify things, so that people could point at your stuff All the above, plus link your data to other people’s data to provide context

Interoperabilità semantica ....
Secondo quanto previsto dall’Agenda Digitale Europea [1], ogni paese
membro dell’UE deve allineare, entro il 2013, il proprio framework di
interoperabilità nazionale (nel caso italiano, come definito dal CAD, il Sistema
Pubblico di Connettività e Cooperazione) al framework europeo di
interoperabilità (i.e., l’EIF - European Interoperability Framework).
Il modello EIF si basa su tre livelli di interoperabilità: l’interoperabilità tecnica,
l’interoperabilità semantica e l’interoperabilità organizzativa; a questi si

LOD Metadata Layer for Federation
RDF graph is an enterprise metadata framework. The metadata graph associates underlying instance data to other data resources
based on their semantics. This linking of resources enables interoperability between apps that exchange data.

• Represents Graph relationships as triples in
compressed, partitioned tables
• Supports quads/named graphs
• RDFS, OWL and user-defined inferencing, Parallel
execution and incremental modes
• Kernel and SQL-layer enhancements for optimized
indexing and access of triple data
• Partitioning and local indexing by application table
• Support for Oracle Exadata, RAC, SQL*Loader
direct path load, Parallelism, Oracle Label Security
• Scales to 100’s of billions of triples
• Access from OBI EE, Oracle BPM, Oracle
Advanced Analytic (R and ODM) through Oracle’s
SPARQL gateway
