rDesk CRM Personal Profile
rDesk CRM Personal Profile contains information about you that is used throughout the
application. It is recommended that you update your Personal Profile before using the Marketing
features within the application.
To access your Personal Profile,
1) Login to rDesk
2) Click on the Personal Profile link
3) You will be in the General Tab, scroll down
a. Under Personal Information, verify the information
i. Fields that are greyed out or appear to be uneditable may need to be
edited by your Company Admin (such as Marketing Name, Office Name)
OR
ii. They may need to edited in your website admin (such as Address, Phone,
Email)
Note: Go to Update Your Website, and once in rDesk Website, go to My Profile, Edit
b. Enter Signature block
i. Your Admin may need to give you the “Allow HTML Signature” role
c. Enter your CalBRE # or additional contact information in Label and Value
d. Click Update My Personal Information if changes were made
e. Enter MLS Information, click Update My MLS Information if changes were
made
f. Enter SMS Cell Phone Information to receive text messages from rDesk CRM
to your cell phone, click Update My SMS Information if changes were made

4) Under the Settings tab, you can change the initial view when you log in (the Start Page
or Dashboard is the default)
a. Choose from the dropdown list
b. Click Save
c. To go back to the Start Page as the initial view, click Default
5) Under the E-mail tab, you can set-up a third-party email provider. This allows you to
open your webmail program right from rDesk CRM.
a. Click on the radio button of the email provider or select Other and enter the
address
b. Click Save Setting

6) Under the Products tab, you can view the rDesk products, service and license
information associated to your account

7) Under the Photos/Logos tab, you can change your agent photo or logo to be used on
rDesk publications such as Flyers
a. To remove a photo/logo, click Clear
b. To change the photo/logo, click Change
c. A window will pop-up, choose from a Saved Photo or Browse to Upload a
photo

d. Click Done
8) Under the Calendar tab, you can set the following;
a. Select your Time Zone from the dropdown list
b. Check to adjust for daylight savings time
c. Click Save
Note: Sending of action plan email activities is based on your selected time zone.

9) Under the Favorites tab, you can add links to your Favorites
Note: This is the same as the Favorites category in the Left Navigation menu
a. To Add, click the
b. The Add Navigation Link window will display, click the rDesk link to select from
within the application

i. Click Save
c. OR, click External link to enter a URL, click Save
i. Click the Advanced link to enter additional options for the external link
ii. Select the options, click OK

d. To change the order of the links in the list, use the

10) Under the Custom URLs tab, you can create a token that can be used in emails that will
call up the URL defined on this page
a. Description – Enter a description of the URL or webpage this will link to. This
will also be the name of the token in the token dropdown in the email editor

b. Custom URL – Enter the destination URL. This will be the page or site that is
called up when the link is displayed in the email
These now can be used in a Quick Email or Action Plan Manager. See How to Turn Custom
URLs into Tokens User Guide for more details!
11) Under the CMA tab, you can set your parameters for your CMA under Marketing
a. Select from the dropdown or scrolling lists
b. Click Save

Note: CMA is an add-on product. See your Account Manager for more details!
12) Under the Teams tab, you can share Calendar and Lead access with your team
members
a. If you belong to more than one team, select from the Default Team dropdown
b. Go to the name, select Read Only or Full
c. Click Save
