Nationwide, the approximately 4,500 RC&D

natural resource and community development

related projects completed annually help create,

expand, retain and financially assist

approximately 6,000 -7,000 businesses. In

addition, these projects help create and retain

approximately 11,000 - 12,000 jobs in their

communities.
