The modern home life sets new demands on speed, function and, not least, flex-ibility. The conditions are different in all homes, but the technology is nevertheless expected to work in every situation. In the development of our Raycore unit, we have focused a lot on design and features in order to adapt to how people live and not the other way around.
HIGH QUALITY AND PERFORMANCEThe Raycore products are developed and designed by Melbye in Sweden. The fiber switch has a powerful chip set with all the features a modern network may require. Low energy consumption gives low ther-mal development and thus long life. Today, approximately 400.000 of these CPEs are installed at city networks and at major oper-ators both in Sweden and abroad.
A versatile FTTH system that adapts to the modern life
Thanks to its discreet and modern design the Raycore switch is suitable in the living area. We also offer the smart fiber tray to cover up the cables.
A WIDE VARIETY OF FEATURESThe software contains a large amount of features that can be adapted to all possible conditions and requirements. It makes the software very flexible and versatile but also durable over time. The functional domain also contributes to efficiency of the technician’s work be-cause troubleshooting and end-user support goes significantly smoother.
MODERN AND COMPACT DESIGNThe Raycore switch has a compact design that makes it easy to install in confined spaces. Thanks to its dis-creet and modern design it is also suitable in the living area. The con-struction is robust and the unit has a clever accessory – the smart fiber tray, where you can cover up the fiber cable quickly and easily.
The RC-CP7 is probably the most compact managed 7 port Gigabit Ethernet layer 2+ switch to be found in the market. Yet loaded with a number of powerful features. With its small footprint, discreet and modern design it is constructed with the modern end user’s home in mind. Thanks to its size, the switch can easily be fitted either into a media cabinet or directly on the wall when used together with the integrated fiber handling module. When both advanced technical functions and design matter, then this is the right product for any FTTH-network owner.
CUSTOMIZED LED LIGHTINGThe LED lights can be closed down to not bother the end customer. The color codes can be customized to the supplier’s own.
INDUSTRIAL QUALITYRaycore is developed by Melbye Sweden and manu-factured in Taiwan where it is quality assured.
FREE-SEATING FUNCTIONALITYAll seven LAN ports have full gigabit, which increases the connection speed. They have a so called free seating function, which facilitates for the end user.
CATV OUTLETRC-CP7 is available in a variant with a cable TV outlet.
UPS POWER SUPPLY UNIT (ACCESSORY)Backup in case of power failure and protection against transients.
