Welcome!Raven Trail System consists of 14.5 miles of Northwoods beauty — the majority of it running through an area logged years ago, but some has been logged recently. The trail system winds past both Clear Lake and InkpotLake.Mostofthetrailsystemisanintermediatelevel,butthereareacoupleofsteephillsanda4.25-mileexperttrail.Amenitiesfoundalongthetrailsystemincludeashelterwithfireringandabikeskillscoursewithlogrides,bridges,teetertottersandrockareas.Thistrailsystemofferssnowshoeingandfattirebikingopportunities,andisalsogroomed for skiing in the winter months. A daily or annual state trail pass is required for biking and skiing where noted.
Trail Rules• A Wisconsin State Trail Pass is required for skiers and bikers 16+ years old on designated trails. • No pets/biking allowed on the nature trails (yellow loops) and groomed ski trails. Pets are allowed on all other trails. Biking allowed where designated. • Pets need to be on a leash no longer thaneightfeetatalltimes.Carryout all pet waste. • Carryoutalllitterondeparture. • No biking, hiking or snowshoeing allowed on the groomed ski trails during the winter months. • Nomotorizedvehiclesallowed. • Pitfiresarepermittedatshelters. Extinguish all fires before leaving. • Alostandfoundserviceismaintained at Crystal Lake and Clear Lake Visitor Stations.Iflostitemsarefound,please turntheminatoneofthesevisitor stations.Helpusreturnitemstotheir rightfulowners.

Raven Nature Trail TheRavenNatureTrail(yellowloop)isamoderatelyhillyandheavilywoodedtrailthatis1.43milesinlength.Thistrailwinds through a large hemlock glade, andisawonderfultrailanytimeoftheyear.However,thespringisespeciallyspectacular so watch for bog rosemary, bog laurel, Labrador tea, leatherleaf, cottongrass,sundewandpitcherplants blooming and growing in the bog. There are also towering old white pines growing along the trail. No pets are allowed year-round.Onlyhikingisallowedduringsummer months as this trail is groomed for skiing in the winter. A daily or annual state trail pass is required for skiing only.
Raven Trail offers scenic views for biking in summer and snowshoeing in winter.
