After Ratan Tata made his dream of launching a car priced at Rs. One lakh true in 2009 when it officially gave

However, the fact that it still hasn't reached a state of high volumes, the road has still many miles left for Nano

While it was Ratan Tata's dream to launch small and affordable car for Indian

consumers with a price tag of Rs. One lakh car was successful as the company

launched it last year amid tremendous coverage from media agencies, the car

may lose its price advantage. The small car will most probably lose the one-lakh

tag soon as the second round of bookings open in the last quarter of the current

75 per cent of the rural population does not have access to safe drinking water. The Tata Group took this

challenge of providing safe drinking water four years ago. The basic idea stems from the Tata Group’s

philosophy to enhance the quality of life.

On marketing this product The company is using the AIR (awareness, innovation and reach) philosophy to

market the product. It is banking on Tata Salt’s distribution network and is looking at tie-ups with NGOs and
