So, first up it’s time to do it (again) in Tweed. The Mighty Deerstalker promises beer, running, beer, hills, beer, darkness, beer and camping. Then it’s time for the World’s Biggest Assault Course to majestically rise up once more form the ornamental grounds of Burghley House, replete with mega-party-festival-camp-ing-beer-music-main-stage-extravaganza. Expect Greg James from Radio 1 and the superlative Reverend and the Makers to play you out in style after 20 miles and 200 obstacles. Up next is our serene and green Trailblazer series of off-road 10k runs. 2014 sees half-marathons added to the roster too. Then we are off to Scotland for a rather hardy iron-distance Triathlon – City to Summit – starting in Edinburgh and finishing at….well, we’ll let you read on and find out just how bonkers Rat Racing has become on that one. If you like the rough stuff, join us in July for The Crossing, Britain’s only mountain-bike expedition event. Then it’s back on foot for The Wall, our 69 mile Ultra across Hadrian’s Wall country. Back to bike for the Road Trip – 440 miles from London to Edinburgh in 4 days; or in 2! Is that even possible? If you’ve still got use of your legs, we might see you in Stockton or London for a double-whammy of River Rat Racing, where we’ll be lazing about on the river while you’re jumping in, splashing round and generally immersing yourself in the wettest 10k imaginable. Towel yourself dry and get ready for our next encounter – this time a gritty 20 mile outing to the Summit of Snowdon and back down the other side, via some obstacles and other challenges in Man Vs Mountain. (Girls welcome too!). From Wales to Scotland for Coast to Coast, the superlative multi-sport outing spanning 106 miles of glorious Highland terrain on foot, bike and boat. And to round up the season it’s time for the monster Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest series, coming back to Cardiff, Nottingham, Edin-burgh, Manchester and London, with a brand new venue at Wembley Stadium for our final event of the year.
