WHO ARE RASWA?The Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia (RASWA) has played a central role in Western Australia for more than 180 years and has coordinated the State’s iconic event, the Perth Royal Show, since 1834.

As a not-for-profit, member-based organisation, our activities are community and industry based and the revenue we earn is invested into initiatives that support the community.

RASWA is responsible for venue management of Claremont Showground - which hosts up to 250 events each year, as well as coordinating national competitions that benchmark excellence in premium food, wine and beer, agriculture, animals and the arts.

RASWA is committed to education and provides a range of high school and tertiary scholarships for young West Australians. The value of agriculture is high on our agenda, with a desire to engage and positively influence which in turn creates the best of WA.

ADULT MEMBERSHIP INCLUSIONS

Member CardRASWA Adult Member card will grant you unlimited entry to all days of the Perth Royal Show at Claremont Showground (individual gate entry and Members’ Lounge access are not transferable).

Guest CardThis card entitles the bearer to enter both the Perth Royal Show and Members’ Lounge and is transferable to any guest the Member chooses.

Any person using a Guest card must ensure they scan out and leave before it can be used by another person.

The Guest card is only valid for the Perth Royal Show and is for ages 5 years and over.

Access to Members’ LoungeYour Adult Member and Guest cards grant you access to the exclusive Members’ Lounge. Here you can enjoy the best view of the arena in air conditioned comfort, or from the open air balcony.

The Members’ Lounge offers a Kids Corner to entertain the little ones, amenities, cloakroom, mobile phone charging station, cash bar, EFT and wide screen TV’s. Food from the a la carte menu is available to purchase.

The Lounge is a licensed area, guests who are under the age of 18 years may only enter the Members’ Lounge when accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

Adult Member and Guest access is via the staircase from the main members entry, with a wheelchair lift available.

50% Discount on Show TicketsAdult Members have the option of purchasing up to ten (10) standard general public entry tickets for family and friends to attend the Perth Royal Show at 50% off the standard gate price (applicable to Adult & Child tickets only). Tickets are available to purchase through our ticketing agent. Information on how to purchase will be sent out prior to the Show.

Discount on Competition EntriesSelected Perth Royal Show competitions offer Adult Members a discount on entry fees. For more detailed information please contact the relevant Competition and Event Coordinator via the RASWA Administration Office.

Invitation to Members NightDuring the Perth Royal Show you will be invited to attend a Members Night with two guests where you will enjoy a complimentary drink whilst mingling with fellow Members and RASWA Councillors.

Voting RightsAll Adult Members are invited to attend the RASWA AGM, usually held in June each year at Claremont Showground. Each Adult Member holds the right to one vote (excludes Junior Members).

Souvenir PinLapel pins are worn during the Show or official functions and are year specific. They must be requested in advance on your application or renewal form and collected from the Members’ Lounge during the Perth Royal Show.

Annual ReportAll Adult Members will receive electronic access to the RASWA Annual Report.

Nominate as a RASWA Office BearerAdult Members have the ability to nominate for selected Office Bearer roles on the RASWA Council as roles become available (excludes Junior Members)

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

You are welcome to purchase optional extras on top of your RASWA Adult Membership. These are available at the time of applying for (or renewing) your Membership, or leading up to and during the Perth Royal Show.

Members’ Guest Card - $70 (max. of 3)This card operates the same way a Member card does and will grant the holder entry to both the Perth Royal Show and the Members’ Lounge. The Guest card holder must carry the card on them at all times (and present it if requested), but you (the member) do not need to accompany them. The Guest card can be used by anyone you choose to give it to and while it can be used by different people on different days, it only grants access to one person at a time, so one user must leave the grounds and scan out before another can scan in.

Please keep in mind that the Members’ Lounge is a licensed area, so anyone under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian at all times.

Members are responsible for ensuring their guests behave appropriately and follow all Terms and Conditions.

RASWA Junior Membership is open to the general public 17 years and under, and can only be in one individuals name. All new RASWA Junior Membership applications are subject to review and approval by the RASWA Council.

HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?1. Complete online, download or request an application form from the

RASWA Administration Office.

2. Submit your completed application and payment to our Member Services (details on application form).

Your application and payment will be processed, then submitted to the RASWA Council for approval. Once your application is approved, your Member pack will be posted to you along with any other relevant information.

Should your application be denied, you will receive notice in writing along with a full refund.
