This tour is designed for people who love to challenge themselves in the middle of excitingnatural settings. This is an action-packed tour that will allow you to take advantage of the whole day while performing several thrilling activities. You’ll fly over a river canyonon the zip lines, and rappel down in to the little canyon just to start stirring your senses.The rock climbing part will bring forth all your strength and sense of adventure. Thensomething that not many people get to do often; it starts with a short horseback ridethrough the forest. The White Water Rafting is about 3 kilometers (1.864 miles) long,and it takes approximately 1:30 hrs. To complete. . We use the safest equipment, helmetsand life vests. Depending on the condition of the river, the dokis (inflatable boat) will alsocarry a guide. We offer are II and III class rafting depending on the weather conditionsat the mountains in the Rincón de La Vieja volcano. Observe huge crocodiles resting under the sun, monkeys moving quickly in the trees, and diverse bird species such as the Anhinga (Snake Bird), Roseate Spoonbill, Wood Storks,the endangered and rare Jabiru (largest bird in Central America), Blue Herons, White Ibis, and more.Recommended tour for those who want to catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. Palo Verde comprises dry forest, wetland and mangrove swamp, which is a perfect habitat for crocodiles, monkeys, iguanas, parrots and other exotic birds. The boat boards at a locationcalled Ballena Port on the Tempisque River, which is the nearest access to the park and then a 2 hour boat tour.

Rincón de la Vieja is one of the most active volcanoes in Costa Rica. A towering volcano with nine extraordinary eruption points; at over 6,200 feet high, it is part of the Guanacaste Mountain Range. The name Rincón de la Vieja, means “the old woman’s corner”. According to a local legend, the indigenous people named the volcano after anold witch who lived at the top of the mountain and sent columns of smoke into the air when she was angry. It is a rigorous but spectacular, and breathtaking hike around the area of Las Pailas. Over 300 species of birds have been recorded to live within the park,like emerald tucanets, and long-tailed manakins. Amongst the numerous insects, youcould count butterflies of the Morpho genus. Three different species of monkeys and otherextraordinary animals also know this place as their home. The Park protects the largestpopulation of wild purple orchids (Guarianthe skinneri), which is Costa Rica’s National Flower. North to Playa Tamarindo at a secluded beach lost in the middle of pure nature we have the possibility of observing three different species. Leatherback turtles being one of thelast dinosaurs roaming on earth has an average weight of 500 kilograms and measuringnearly 6 feet. The Black turtle with an approximate of 4 feet and 100 kilograms are themost abundant turtle we have in this protected area. The Olive Ridley, the smallest of the3 can grow to about 3 feet and weigh in at 50 kilograms. Turtle watching is guaranteed,however turtle nesting will depend on the conditions at the beach due to it’s a natural occurring process.

Ostional National Wildlife RefugeeA natural occurring phenomena where the Olive Ridley invades the Ostional community.Massive arrivals of fleets of turtles will reach the coast and in a time frame of 3 up to 4 days, a number of approximately 200,000 up to 500,000 individuals will flood the coastfor the marvelous nesting process. Each turtle laying from 50 up to 120 eggs, the exclusionprocess will occur in 45 to 47 days, it’s a breathtaking experience when baby turtles seemto boil out of the sand. Located 70 kilometers south from Tamarindo it’s an experience youcan’t ignore.
