Leaving the game
Season parking:Check the Texas Rangers Web site for the latest directions, www.texasrangers.com/directions
Parking lots will open at 8 a.m. forMonday's Texas Rangers homeopener. Dynamic message signswill be placed on many roads toguide motorists to parking areas.
In addition to the $12 cash parkingat Rangers lots, parking is availableat Six Flags Over Texas, which canbe best accessed by taking Texas360 to Six Flags Drive.
For those parking at Rangers lots, here are the preferred routes:
From Fort Worth:Take Nolan Ryan Expressway,Collins or Center streets to Roadto Six Flags.
From Arlington:Take Abrams Street to StadiumDrive.
From Northeast TarrantCounty:Take Lamar or NE Green Oaksboulevards to Ballpark Way.
From Dallas:Take Texas 161 to Division Streetor I-30 to Legends Way.
Leaving the gameParking attendants will providefans with maps showing the bestway out after the game.
A lot of progress has been madeon I-30 during the past year, butit's still very difficult to access thefreeway from the Arlingtonentertainment district. This isespecially true if you're headingwest, back to Fort Worth ornorthern Tarrant County.
For those heading west, the bestbet is to take Division Street,Randol Mill Road or Road to SixFlags Drive and follow those roadswest to Cooper Street, FielderRoad or East Loop 820.
