Design

exTeriorWith its striking lines, muscular shoulders and tapered roof, Range Rover Evoque sets itself apart from its contemporaries. Whether discovering hidden parts of town or being seen in all the right places, it’s always ready for action. Striking the perfect balance between distinctive exterior design, a contoured cabin, capability and performance, the vehicle defines contemporary city life.

Adaptive full LED headlamps complement the vehicle’s design cues by combining a distinctive look with enhanced light output for better visibility and safety at night. The headlamps adaptive function enables light beams to be automatically aligned with steering inputs and follow curves in the road. The Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) have a new shape creating a distinctive signature which also serves as the directional indicator where it flashes amber.

inTeriorA range of individual features provides added appeal to the clean, architectural shapes of the vehicle’s interior. The all-new front and rear seats incorporate the latest technologies such as climate control options to ensure a truly relaxed and comfortable ride. Details include the use of premium materials such as Oxford leather and twin-needle stitching.

The cabin is also complemented by new-look door insert finishings which are enhanced further by deeply padded premium materials you’ll simply want to touch.

For the ultimate in comfort, optional front massage seats allow both the driver and front passenger to select individual programmes via the Touch-screen. Varying in intensity, there are five settings to choose from; each one delivers a soothing massage to improve both passenger and driver's comfort.

The infotainment centre in Range Rover Evoque lets you hear and feel music the way you should. Bright trebles. Deep bass notes. Rich tones that let every instrument sing. These are the characteristics of the Meridian™ Sound System. Added to which, the vehicle’s eight-inch Touch-screen has 800 x 480 pixel resolution, InControl Touch, DAB, Bluetooth® streaming and phone connectivity for two phones simultaneously.

Finally, Configurable Mood Lighting is also controlled via the Touch-screen. With a range of ten colours on offer, you can dial the brightness up or down to suit your temperament. A ‘Stealth’ setting is also available to reduce cabin illumination to a minimum.

Terrain response® WiTh all-Terrain progress conTrol

Developed by Land Rover’s industry-leading all-terrain specialists, Terrain Response® acts as an off-road expert that reconfigures the vehicle’s engine, transmission, throttle and traction settings to ensure greater off-road capability. Our proprietary system is enhanced by the addition of All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC).

This new state-of-the art technology enables drivers to set and sustain a steady speed when driving off-road. Operating like a cruise control system, it functions at very low speeds between 1,8kph and 30kph, helping the driver to maintain full concentration on steering and finding a path through obstacles.

acTive drivelineThe Active Driveline delivers benefits in both on and off-road situations. In many on-road driving conditions, the system is able to disconnect drive to the rear of the vehicle, providing maximum two-wheel drive fuel economy. A sophisticated control strategy continuously monitors key vehicle

and environmental parameters. If the requirements for four-wheel drive are met, the system seamlessly and imperceptibly reconnects that drive within 300 milliseconds.

Wade sensing™

Designed to aid you when the vehicle is going through water, sensors in the door mirrors provide real-time information of water depth and presents this on the Touch-screen along with the vehicle’s maximum wading capability. So you can negotiate your way with the utmost confidence.

ingenium dieselThe all-new Ingenium diesel engine will deliver a step change in both emissions and economy, showing an average 17 percent improvement in fuel economy and an average 17 percent reduction in CO2 emissions over its predecessor.

The 2,0 litre four-cylinder Ingenium engine will be available in two power outputs; 150PS and 180PS. There is also the option of two or four-wheel drive and a choice of six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic transmissions.

Land Rover engineers have paid particular attention to reducing weight while maintaining excellent strength and high levels of refinement. The all-aluminium Ingenium engine is 20-30kg lighter than predecessors. An efficient solenoid common-rail system feeds fuel into the combustion chambers which provides precision injection with low noise levels. Added to which internal friction is reduced by 17 percent compared with the previous-generation turbodiesel engine, boosting efficiency, smoothness and responsiveness.

Not only is the new Ingenium engine substantially lighter, more fuel-efficient and more refined than its predecessor, it's also more affordable and convenient to own thanks to servicing intervals extended from 16.000 to 21.000 miles on four-wheel drive models with no impact on longevity.

driveline, engine performance and fuel economyThe all-new Ingenium diesel engines are fully EU6 compliant, and coupled with lightweight all-aluminium construction, six-speed manual transmission or optional nine-speed automatic transmission (TD4), deliver greatly improved fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions.

The powerful Si4 engine is also fully EU6 compliant, yet has lost nothing in performance, accelerating from 0-100kph in just 7.6 seconds.

All engines feature Intelligent Stop/Start technology, automatically shutting down the engine at rest when possible, and re-starting it again as soon as you lift your foot off the brake.
