QUICK REFERENCE The new Range Rover gi ves a truly advanced driving experience and as such, there are several unique features with which you may like to become familiar. This Quic k Refere nce will stee r you through the operation of those features. Your Owner Literat ure has full descriptions of all these features along with the operating instructions. For cool air to the face whatever the temperature setting, rotate the centre thumbwheel towards the b lue dot. For hot air to the face, rotate to wards the red dot. See Heating & Ventilati on – Centre foot/face level vents. FACE LEVEL AIR H4784 After driving , it’s possible to warm the cabin by using the residual heat from within the engine. With the engine turned off, continued heating is available for up to 15 minutes. Simply pre ss the MAX button. See Heating & Ventilation – Engine off/heater function. The passenger door mirror will dip when reversing if the ‘mirror select switch’ is set to the driver’s side. (Only available with ‘memory’ seats. ) See Door Mirror s – Automatic kerb- view dipping. ENGINE OFF HEATING DOOR MIRROR DIP H4785 H4801 For ease of entry and exit, access height can be requested prior to stopping the vehicle. Press the access height switch. The vehicle must be travelling at less than 80 kph (50 mph) and co me to a stop within 65 seconds, o therwise the request is cancelled. Alternatively, turn the rotary height selector control anti-clockwise until the lowest indicator light illuminates. See Electronic Air Suspensi on – Access height. ACCESS HEIGHT H4800 H4799 To set the variable wiper delay: 1. Push the le ver fo rwa rd to oper ate the rear wiper. 2. Immediate ly pull the lever b ack. Wait for the desired delay period. 3. Push the le ver for war ds again. The delay perio d is now s et and the wiper will operate according ly. See Wipers & Washers – Rear window wiper. REAR WIPER DELAY 1 2 3 H4793 To disable interior space protection but maintain all other security features when locking the vehicle, press the remote handset lock button twice.
