Grandparents’ Day was awesome! Also, thank you so much for your support at the book fair! It has been an enormous success! Important: Reading Log Due Monday, October 17th Overall, students need to put more effort into the reading log. I am only asking students to complete five questions each week. I use the extended response questions/ reflections in place of summative assessments. Students take a lot of tests, and I would prefer not to test over each novel. At the same time, each student needs to show growth in comprehension of literature. Please refer to your child’s i- Ready diagnostic score and goal. In order to grow, students must practice reading literature at their level. Please see the standard listed below. Also, students need to check their capitalization, punctuation, and spelling. Revision is a skill and a sixth grade standard.
