Rancho Mirage was one of the first communities in the Coachella Valley to
capitalize on the demand for high quality residential/resort housing units in
the region. As such, the City has traditionally had the unique advantage of
widespread name recognition as one of the most affluent residential commu-
nities in the Valley boasting average annual household incomes in excess of
$130,000. Rancho Mirage also benefits from the long anticipated reopening
of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, which occurred on May 15, 2014. The Hotel is the
region’s only five star resort and completed a renovation of the existing 244
