Kite Flying Fellowship – CHHOO LE AASMAAN !!!

On 14th january 2014, RSRT 244 and RART 160 tablers jointly celebrated the festival of Makar Sankranti at firyalal banquet. Soon after donating blood tablers joined in for kite flying activities. Some were vetron in kite flying somewere just a tyro but neverthless everyone had a wonderful time. Full Kudos to Tr. Ravi and Tr. Saurav for arranging kites and charkhis that too in short span of time.

AREA IV MID TERM MEET- Jungle Mein Mungle !!!

Just A day before our charter function on 1st February , 2014, we got the chance to participate in our maiden Mid Term Meet. The whole event was well crafted and organised by Tr. Mayank Jaiswal in jungle of Horab Near Ranchi., a secluded place surrounded by hills on a river side.

Tablers of RSRT gave full support and coordination to convene the whole event under the guidance of Tr. Mayank. The day started with receiving of visiting tablers at Hotel chanakya BNR and then everyone headed towards the jungle.

Good Food, Good Toast, Beautiful Gazebos, Cock fight Betting, Paintball Combat, Bow and arrow was all there to entertain us. Hats off to Tr. Ravi for organising cock Fight Betting in an amazing way.

Smiles, Laughter, exchange of ideas, interaction with Area IV Tabler's, Twinkler's activity was the fulcrum of MTM and indeed was a memorable one.

ONE WILD NIGHT

Charter function was followed by the Grand Social – “OWN” Hosted by Tr. Chetan Jain and Tr. Abhishek Kumar of RSRT 244 and Tr.Ankit Jain,Tr. Lokesh Sahu of RART 160. Curtains were unveiled with thundering roar of Harleys . Kolkata fame DJ Akash spun the console with mesmering tracks from bollywood, hip hop , house. He never let the mood down with his groovy music play. All the Tablers adorned their “ROCKSTAR” dress code theme. Few tablers were found to flaunt LED T shirt which lifted the spirit of the party. It was a rocking night with non stop numbers, booze and unlimited merriment.

It was the first wedding anniversary of Tr. Ankit who also shared his feelings of one year of togetherness with Mahima to the audiences. RART 160 tablers made sure that cake was cut followed by gifting of Bouquet.

The visiting tablers and the newly chartered team of RSRT 244 too accompanied by their spouses set the stage on fire- setting the mood for an Amazing & Rocking Fellowship. Party went till the wee hour in the morning.

ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL !! HERE WE ARE WITH NO. - 244

After the Phenomenal and grand opening of Ranchi Samaritans RT everyone had the eye on charter function of the table where we get the firm recognition as a part of Round Table India by way of getting a Table Number. Finally on 2nd February, 2014, the historic moment arrived and Ranchi Samaritans RT was was assigned with No. 244 .RSRT 244, under the charter chairmanship of Tr. Atul Gera was all set to be chartered in Presence of NVP- Tr. Deepak Menda, AC-IV Tr. Manpreet Singh, National Corporate Communication Convenor- Tr. Prashant Gupta, RT Indian Idol Convenor- Tr. Neeraj Banka, National LAPD Convenor- Tr. Brijesh Dalmiya, NAGM - 2014 Convenor- Tr. Mahesh Kedia, AVC-IV Tr. Manish Shah, AST- IV Tr. Mayank Beriwal, Area IV FC- Tr. Krishna Raj Gupta, Area FTE Convenor Tr. Harmeet Singh, Area IV LAPD Convenor- Tr. Sandeep Harbhajanka, Area IV RTI week Convenor- Tr. Nikhiil Sethia, Area IV Best Practices Convenor- Tr. Chetan Prakash, Square Legs, Circlers and Twinklers of RART 160& RSRT, AeX Board Members and fellow tablers across area 4.

It was proud and historic moment for the parent table CPRT 34 and RART 160. Kudos to Chairman CPRT 34 Tr. Bharat and chairman RART

160 Tr. Mayur in promoting the extension of the association and adding another brick in the wall ( Round Table India)

The solemn charter ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest. Followed by Tr. Atul Gera, Chairman RSRT calling the meeting to order along with NVP Tr. Deepak Menda, Area IV Chairman Tr. Manpreet Singh, AVC Tr. Manish Shah, Tr. Mayur Jaiswal, Chairman of sponsor Table RART160, Tr. Bharat Bagla, Chairman of sponsor Table CPRT 34 and Tr. Prashant Gupta, National Corporate Communication Convenor joining the dias.

NVP Tr. Deepak then presented the Certificate of Charter and gave number 244 to the Ranchi Samaritans Round Table and everyone raised a toast

to the newly chartered table, a memorable occasion for Area 4 and Round Table India.

Secretary Tr. Avinash showcased the work done and journey to the making of Samaritans by his table, which was greatly appreciated by the entire gathering with thunderous applause. Visiting tablers presented the headboard with their flags and pins and also committed contributions towards their Project fund.

The same was followed by motivating speeches given by the NVP, Area IV Chairman, AST Tr. Mayank, AVC and Sponsor Table Chairmen, expressing their joy on the charter and also assuring RSRT 244 of their unflinching support in the years to come.

Tr. Atul Gera, thanked the entire team of RART 160 and CPRT 34 for their support and guidance and also announced that RSRT 244 has already identified a Non-FTE project and work would be initiated on the same.

The Seargenting act by the trio Tr. Pralad Kedia, Tr. Mayank Jaiswal and Tr. Ravi Sahu was hilarious, thoroughly entertaining and made for a time full of gags and assured a good collection. The meeting was closed with a toast to Round Table India and Round Table International.

AREA EXECUTIVE BOARD MEET

Attending AEX is always a wonderful experience in its own. The interaction amongst tablers, the projects which each table takes up and its execution triggers motivation and sense of healthy competition to move ahead to achieve aims and objects of ROUND TABLE INDIA.The way Tr. Harmeet of CPRT 34 explained project development and its execution of Area IV FTE SCHOOL was inspiring and motivating one. Hats off to CPRT 34 for their tabling spirit.Each table from Area IV shared their works done in last quarter and RTI week and future plans to be done in months to come.Finally after brief discussion amongst head boards of Area IV, Area IV Chairman Tr. Manpreet called off the meeting.

BlOOD DONATION CAMP - Rakht Daaan Sabse Bada Daan !

On 14th January 2014, RSRT 244 and RART 160 Jointly oraganised a Blood Donation Camp at Firyalal Banquet. What could have been a better day than donation of Blood on the Festival of Makar Sankranti as It is believed to be pious and holy day for donation. In total 70 units of blood were collected. Most Remarkable work was done by Tr. Gagan Girdhar who pulled in more than 20 units of Blood donors from his side. Hats off to Gagan for his Tabling Spirit and Tr. Atul for coordinating the event with Tr. Gaurav of RART 160.

HOCKEY INDIA LEAGUE MATCHESFOR UNDER PREVILEGED BY RSRT 244 AND KVRT227

Round Table India promotes service through fellowship and the same was well exemplified by our table Chairman Tr. Atul Gera and Tr. Sahil Saharia of KVRT 227, a small bonding through fellowship at kolkata AEX paved way to this event. We got the sponsorship of tickets from owner’s of Hockey Team Ranchi Rhinos Mr. Sauarv Dugar ( close friend to Tr. Sahil) and consequently stage was set. Underprivileged kids from Niwaranpur Ashram, Kishornagar, St. Xavier’s Outreach kids were taken to witness league matches. Kudos to Tr. Sahil of KVRT 227, Table Chairman Tr. Atul of RSRT 244, Tr. Ravi , Tr. Chetan, Tr. Vivek , Tr. Gagan, Tr. Avinash for convening each day of the matches.Also thanks to our Area Chairman Tr. Manpreet Singh for supporting us and joining us in

one of the league matches. In total around 450 kids were benefitted and got the chance to witness LIVE Hockey matches. Happiness and excitement amongst kids who witnessed the matches was a memorable one for me, Each smiles were conveying tonnes of thank you to us. Picture gallery is self evident.

BLOOD DONATION ON MARTYR'S DAY

On 23rd of March, 2014 the 'Felicitation Ceremony', was organized to honor the 86 Voluntary Blood donors' organizations and 155 heartfelt individuals immensely involved for the noble cause of voluntary blood donation. There could not have been a better way to pay tribute to our legendary Martyrs Saheed Bhagat Singh, Saheed Shivram Hari Rajguru and Saheed Sukhdev Thapar wherein the Round Table INDIA, UNDER THE BANNER OF RSRT 244 along with Life Savers and VBDA, Ranchi & Federation of Indian Blood Donors' Organization called for a felicitation cum blood donation camp at the Rotary Hall, Ranchi Club premise in Jharkhand.

Full kudos to our NP TR. HARISH SHENOY for his complete support and sincerity for the cause. The Blood donation drive was a Pan India one.

The event was graced by dignitaries like Mrs. Indira Singh, Chairperson of an NGO, 'Lekhni', Father Ajit Xess, Principal, St. Xavier's School Doranda Ranchi, Dr. B.P.Chaurasia, Additional Project Director at Jharkhand State AIDS control Society, Maulana Asgar Misbahi an eminent personality at Ranchi Mosque and Mr. Gurvinder Sethi representing the Ranchi Gurudwara. Blood has one colour and let not religion make a difference in humanity-This was the idea of life savers working committee when the list of dignitaries was charted out.

The event started with blood donation camp early morning at Ranchi Rotary Club premise and GuruNanak Hospital simultaneously at each venue. A total of appreciable 48 units of blood were collected by the said effort.

The ceremony commenced with welcoming of dignitaries and eminent guests, followed by lighting of solidarity lamp and National Anthem was recited to pay tribute to the Martyrs. This was followed by a welcome note by Life saver Mrs. Esha Kaur who talked briefly on the vision and mission of life savers and other voluntary blood donation organization.

The felicitation ceremony had a multi faceted dimension where we also embraced vital social responsibility of individuals like that of Mr. Govind & Mr. Manish Arora who donated wheelchair to a differently abled lady, Mr. Nigam, officer at Indian Forest Ser vice also donated wheelchair and bed back rest to the needy.The ceremony was later briefed by RSRT 244 CHAIRMAN TR. Atul Gera about the challenges that we need to tackle for a transparent voluntary blood donation modus operandi. The vote of thanks was extended to the team in the end.

RSRT 244 CONTRIBUTED – BATTERY AND INVERTER

It was announced by the table during our charter function that table is going to contribute an inverter cum battery sysytem to H.H High School Brambe near Ranchi to run its computer lab which was non operational due to frequent power cuts/ load shedding.H.H. High school is a school which is run by young and dynamic Philanthropist Md. Shadab who is trying to provide education to needy and down trodden people. Day was fixed on 24.02.2014 we headed to H.H. High school Brambe . mother of shadab warmly welcomed us and discussed regarding developments of students and constraints which school is facing due to lack of finance. she was more than happy to acknowledge our small contribution and said that now computer lab will resume and students can learn computer hassle Free even if there is a power cut which quite frequent in that part of Ranchi.As usual we were introduced to the school closing assembly and whole school thanked us for the support. Since fellowship being and integral part of tabling while returning back we had a small fellowship in the form of coconut water and spruoted chaat.

RSRT 244 Maiden Fund Raiser

Success mantra lies in climbing each ladder at a time and that is what team RSRT 244 did on Friday 28th Feb. 2014 by way of organizing a charity show of the movie " Shaadi ke Side Effects."Whole event was well organized and co-ordinated. Hats off to Tr. Arvind, Tr. Abhishek, Tr. Gagan, Tr. Chetan for their Dedicated efforts. It was indeed cherishing to see that entire RSRT team members complimented each other in selling tickets and the result was full house in both the screen of multiplex.Event was a complete success, people who came to watch the show praised for our efforts and encouraged us to take up further projects ahead in the time to come.

ON THE PUBLICITY FRONT- KITE FLYING FELLOWSHIP WAS COVERED BY LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE; OUR CHARTER FUNCTION WAS COVERED BY I-NEXT NEWSPAPER, TIMES OF INDIA, FOLLOWED BY RTI NATIONAL BLOOD DONATION DRIVE ON 23RD MARCH BY ALL ALMOST ALL NEWSPAPAER.

Our Table got the certificate of appreciation and a trophy toward the contribution of blood donation in Ranchi by LIFE SAVERS AND FIBDO.
