2011 to 2012, he researched Sufi,
Jewish and Middle Eastern ethnomusicology and the chronology of
Egyptian music in Alexandria Library, Alexandria, Egypt under the
General Authority Library and National Archives.
In 2011, Ramy Botros started doing business development while
becoming a marketing assistant and music instructor at Alexandria
Library in Alexandria, Egypt. Alexandria Library is the oldest
library in the world and a renowned Middle Eastern cultural center.
Here, he was responsible to outreach, business development and
marketing to media and international students. He also conducted
over 20 interviews and performances for journalists and media
outlets in Egypt.
In 2013, Ramy Botros founded the School of Lute Online Project
which is the first original project for teaching classical Lute
music to students from over around the world. Owing to his skills
and dedications, he has been honored with a soloist degree in
teaching Lute and professional Musician for more than 12 years.
