Most awaited, Ramanujan, a Tamil flick that traces the life of
the prodigal math genius Srinivasa Ramanujan. The biographical film
has been directed by Gnana Rajasekaran and produced by the
independent Indian production house Camphor Cinema. Cinematography
is handled by Sunny Joseph and editing is done by B. Lenin.
Ramanujan movie starring Abhinay Vaddi in the male lead role,
while Abbas, Suhasini Maniratnam, Kevin McGowan, Bhama and Michael
Lieber appeared as supporting characters. The music of the movie is
composed by Ramesh Vinayakam and script is penned by Gnana himself.

Ramanujan.
The story of Ramanujan turns around the life of Matehmatics
master Srinivasa Ramanujan. Movie showcases his entire life and
begins from his childhood to his years at Cambridge University.
Also, highlights his relationship with his mother Komalatammal, his
wife Janaki and his professor G. H. Hardy. Ramanujan very nicely
portrays the perception of Indian society about a great man in
early 1900s.
Lead actor Abhinay Vaddi, the grandson of veteran Tamil film
actor Gemini Ganesan as male protagonist in the Ramanujan has done
full justice with the role and supporting characters also appears
convincing in their respective roles.
The music flows well with every passing scene. Editing and
cinematography is worth praising. There is no dull moment in the
movie and all characters has got optimal screen presence. Overall,
director Gnana who is knownfor his quality biopics, Ramanujan is
one of that masterpiece made upto the perfection. Ramanujan is
must-watch movie for the audience of all age groups.
