12.Safety norms and checks• All buildings and laboratory electrical wiring carried out by PWD
(Electrical) section in accordance with the safety norms/measures as per IE Rules.• Kerala State Electrical Inspectorate authority inspects the institution
regularly.• Dress code is strictly maintained in the lab and wearing of shoes is
made compulsory in the lab sessions.• Fire extinguishers of standard quality have been provided at
appropriate and convenient places throughout the campus.• Vehicles of students are banned inside the campus
