Annual Report 2012-13 In the Academic Year 2012-13,the Placement committee directed students for placements organised by various companies of different sectors. A Campus Interview by IL&FS Education and Technological Services Ltd Mumbai. was organised at college on 25.10.2013. For this campus interview 120 students from our college and 81 students from other colleges appeared. In this campus interview 6 students are placed form our college. All remaining campus interview held in Off Campus mode at different Places. The following data shows the summery of number of students placed in respective companies along with the packages offered.

Placement Cell Report 2015-16

The Placement Cell of Rajarshi Shahu Mahavidyalaya, Latur (Autonomous) has had a fruitful year after getting autonomy to our college, where we can observe various companies tempted towards us to bridge the gap in between Education sector and Industry. Every year we invite companies not only for placement but also for getting closure to the industry needs from students.

Our college always takes several initiatives like different soft skill workshop, communication development, interview techniques etc to cope up with these demands from Industry.

This Placement cell is headed by Mr. Rahul Athawale as a Separate Placement Officer in the month of December 2015. In this academic year a separate Placement Officer has been appointed who have several corporate linkages. As a result of this we could able to manage 95 students to get placed in various companies.

Event 1: We have conducted Campus Interview by Digishell on 27th February 2016.

Event 2: In the month of March of 5th Day 2016 we had conducted open campus drive for ICICI Bank in association with ITM Sales Academy, Mumbai. Where 151 students participated from different districts of Maharashtra, out of which 66 students selected from our college. For this Campus interview Mr.Vinay Ingle & Mr.Nitin Todakar from ITM Sales Academy was present.

Event 3: On 25th April 2016 we were coaching towards another step stone by

conducting open Campus drive of HDFC Bank, Mumbai in collaboration with Times Group. For this Campus Drive 50 students participated out of which 12 students selected. For this said campus drive Mr. Ganraj Desai & Mr.Nagesh Gupta from Times Group was present.

Event 4: On 26th April 2016 we called IT based company Get-Logic for our IT students,where 160 students participated in this campus drive. Mr. Navneet Kumar, Mr.Anay Shastri & Mr. Abhijeet Ronghe was present.

Placement Cell Report 2016-17

The Placement Cell of Rajarshi Shahu Mahavidyalaya, Latur (Autonomous) after getting huge response of various industries in 2015-16,we enter very dominantly in the year 2016-17 with the experience we felt in previous year. This time we were alert and focusing on not only Placements but also their interpersonal skills. As a result of this we got maximum companies approaching towards us along with the previously visited companies.

By focusing on Students employability factor we have also conducted workshop on global platform to produce good exposure of students.

This year we have managed to place the student up to 97. This increasing figure of Placements boost us to continue this development in upcoming year & we are fully assure about this. In the real sense we are carrying Pursuit of Excellence in terms of proving employment and building good career options.

Event 1: Students should be not only aware about the Market but also market share and How Share market works. For this we called Mr. Pratyush Bhaskar & Mr. Rakesh Singh from National Stock Exchange as a experts guest lecture on 13th July 2016.

Event 2: On 24th August 2016 we again called ICICI Bank for second time to conduct campus Interview. In this campus interview 127 students participated out of which 36 students got placed. For this campus drive Mr. Harish Suknale & Mr. Milind Ghate from ITM Sales Academy was present.

Event 3: On 29th August 2016 we have moved ahead for getting employment in Rural Banking sector by calling Fino Paytech Bank. In this campus interview 146 students participated for various positions out of which 09 students from our college got placed. For this Campus Interview Mr.Siddappa Karade & Mr. Shivshankar Mote was present.

Event 4: After realizing the fact that our students were in lacking in skills expecting from Industry, we had invited Tata Consultancy Services for 100 Hrs free employability workshop for students. We not only groomed them but also

groomed there mentality towards Employment. As a token of appreciation we got one personality who tempted towards this workshop none other than Latur District Collector Mr. Pandurang Pole, who joins this workshop without any formal Invitation. This workshop was conducted on 26th August 2016 by Ms. Shimona Parasher from Delhi.

Event 5: As a result of TCS employability workshop at our college TCS itself moved towards us for the campus placement on 7th October 2016 where 49 students participated and 11 students selected in TCS. For this campus interview Mr.Siddharth Parashar,Mr.Varun Kasadia & Mr.Tarun Gangoli was present.

Event 6: Always our motto of Placement is not only to knock the door of Industry every time for asking the expert lectures but also student how can our students get this knowledge very easily. For this we made MoU in between National Stock

Exchange and our college. By this our students can get NSE certificates after completing online courses offered by NSE at very affordable cost per student. For signing this MoU Ms. Priti Gupta from NSE, Mr. Pratyush Bhaskar & Mr. Abhay Nawghare were present.

Event 7: As we know Rural bank demand is huge for employment Fino Paytech Bank again approached towards us for Campus Interview on 14th December 2016.In this campus interview 44 students were participated out of which 05 students got placement. For this Campus Interview Mr. Siddappa Karade & Mr. Shivshankar Mote was present.

Event 8: Our College is located in such a city where most of the part belongs to Agriculture and our students also belongs to rural poor family background. But they have the dream to go for Higher studies in metropolitan cities but due to weak economical condition they are unable to opt.Placement cell has taken the initiative to work on this issue. We called Regensy’s Foundation based on South Africa at

our college who provide 100% scholarship to the needy student to get an admission for M.B.A in Mumbai Colleges after taking certain examination.We had invited this foundation on 09th March 2017.For such a event Mr.Nitin Todkar was present from Regenesy’s foundation to conduct this entrance examination.

Event 9: As this is the symbiotic journey in between ICICI Bank in association with ITM sales Academy, they approached towards us again third time on 15th March 2017. For this Campus Interview Mr.Vivek Ajmne from ITM Sales Academy was present.

Event 10: Our students should get an exposure to work on a global platform, we have provided them ample of opportunities to perform in National Level Robofest Championship 2017 at our college on 23rd & 24th March 2017 by taking some Mobile robotics workshop and championship by IIT Roorkee under Industry Academia Innovation practices & Winner of this championship directly enters into the final round of Robofest by IIT Roorkee .
