FIRST STEPSWe would recommend that any group/club looking to host a fundraising event at the Stadium going through the following steps before deciding on the option to go with:• Arrange a committee meeting to identify a fundraising group to lead the

event• Set your fundraising goals (realistic amount you would like to raise)• Decide on what areas you know will work best in your community

i.e. Ticket sales, selling of race card advertisements, race sponsorship, etc.• Arrange a meeting with Stadium Management to discuss the best option

for your group and clarify any queries you may have

The main part of any fundraising event at the Stadium is the selling of admission tickets. Obviously, the more tickets you sell the more successfulyour event will be, both from a revenue and attendance perspective. There are many different types of tickets available for you to sell for your event. Here are a few examples:

€10 STANDARD ADMISSION TICKET: One plus Race ProgrammeSunday afternoon - €3 per ticket presented at the stilesMinimum €7 Profit for your club from each ticket sold. (Subject to min of €400)Saturday Night - €4 per ticket presented at the stilesMinimum €6 Profit for your club from each ticket sold. (Subject to a min of €600)

Organisation’s who don’t want to go down the route of organising a full benefit night as discussed above have the Buster Draw Option which works as follows: In any given race there are 6 dogs competing, trap 1 to trap 6. In any race they can finish in any order (e.g. 123456 or 654321 or 136524 etc). There are 720 possible race results, therefore for a buster draw you need to have 720 tickets with a separate combination for each possible result. We can source these tickets for you.

We then run the buster draw race (normally race 7-8) and the ticket holder with the winning combination wins the prize money. The recommended price for these tickets is €20.00 but you can charge what you see fit. You are charged by the stadium in the same manner in which the Small Ticket Sale benefit is charged €4.00 per ticket presented at the door on the night, subject to a minimum of €600 if you do not choose the All Inclusive price of €1,000.

MEDIUM - BUSTER DRAW Funds from €6,000 to €14,0002:

LARGE - FULL BENEFIT NIGHT Funds from €15,000 to €100,0003:

A Full Benefit Night is taking all the different elements available to your club/charity and using them to maximise the return from your fundraising event. Similar to the Buster Draw & Ticket Option in so far that the main part of the event is the selling of admission tickets. Additional revenue can be gained in from Race Sponsorship, Race Card Advertisements etc. Outlined below is a summary of a sample Full Benefit night.

RACE SPONSORSHIPA standard race night at the Stadium consists of 10 races. The opportunity is available to fundraising groups to sell each of these races to local companies, individuals, existing sponsors etc. We would recommend selling each race for between €200/€300 but this varies depending on what your group feels would be attractive to potential sponsors. In turn the sponsor of each race would get:

• Race named after them on the night – This is printed in the race programme and on the www.igb.ie website.

• A free A5 race programme advertisement on the night • A post race trophy presentation to the winning owner/

trainer of their sponsored race – trophy to be supplied by fundraising group.

• Complimentary admission passes to the event
