Erika Mole scored a late, late extra time winner as Copsewood (Coventry) reachedthe Fourth Round of the F.A.Women's Cup for the first time in their history with a 3-2victory over Larkhall Athletic. In a thrilling battle between two Combination League teams, Copsewood -still unbeaten in all competitions this season - took the lead on the half hour when Melissa Younglatched on to Jodie McGuckin's through ball and fired home past Nicki O'Connell. Larkhall hadstarted the game did well and did so in the second half as well but could not break through theCopsewood defence until ten minutes from time, when Kate German scored from close range tosend the match into extra time. Copsewood struck the first blow early on, McGuckin was again the creator as she playedin Nicola Foskett to score. Larkhall then missed a penalty in their attempts to level the scores butonce again they were to hit back when Carly Bryant drove home an equaliser. Penalties were looming large but with just 20 seconds of play left on the clock, McGuckinyet again set up a chance as she got to the line and cut the ball back for Mole to fire into the topcorner. There was no time for Larkhall to reply and Copsewood could celebrate one of theirbiggest wins in an excellent season to date.

Sunderland ran out 5-1 winners over Oxford Utd in a clash between two WSL2 sidesplaying their first competitive matches for nine months. In difficult conditions with a swirling wind,Sunderland took the lead on twelve minutes when Rachel Furness forced the ball home from acorner. Rebekah Bass finished off a good move to mark her Sunderland debut with a goal anddouble their lead but after Helen King and Lauren Allison had gone close, Oxford pulled one backwhen Louise Fellows slotted in at the far post from a Sahara Osbourne-Ricketts free kick. However Sunderland restored the two-goal advantage ahead of the break from another corner, this time Furness heading powerfully home. Two minutes into the second half, Abbey Joice curled in a 25-yard shot to increaseSunderland's lead and things were made worse for Oxford when captain Osbourne-Ricketts wassent off for a second bookable offence. Beth Mead rounded off the scoring to complete the winfor the Wearsiders who will have their sights set on another good Cup run. Another WSL2 team marched into the Fourth Round as Durham Women marked their firstcompetitive match with a 4-0 win against Chichester City. The Wildcats took the lead in freakishcircumstances when a back pass by Chichester defender Lucie Challen was picked up by thewind and beat goalkeeper Hannah McNamara to find the net. The second came just before halftime, a Zoe Ness shot deflecting in off Taylor McGlashan. Chichester came out strongly after the break with Lauren Cheshire hitting the bar with afree kick but they couldn't find a way through and Durham put the result beyond doubt with tenminutes remaining when Beth Hepple drove home a free kick. Ness added the final goal in theclosing minutes to wrap up a good start for her side.

Portsmouth kept up their good Cup run with a 3-0 victory over Lewes in their South Coastderby match. Pompey took the lead in the thirteenth minute when Lucy Quinn's far post cross wasvolleyed in by captain Gemma Hillier. Shortly afterwards, some confusion in the Lewes back linewas capitalised on by Charley Wilson who sidefooted home from close range. Portsmouthcompleted the scoring ten minutes before half time as Wilson set up Sarah Kempson to score witha powerful left foot strike.

Coventry City completed a good day for their area as they joined Copsewood (Coventry)in the Fourth Round after defeating Stoke City 3-1 in a well contested tie at the Ricoh Arena. TheSky Blues went in front after twelve minutes when Helen Dermody scored following a good runand cross by Ashleigh Neville who then got on the scoresheet herself to double her side's lead.Natalie Brace netted the third from close range after the Stoke defence were unable to clear aMaz Gauntlett free kick and despite Chantelle Gallagher replying from the penalty spot, it provedto be a consolation for Stoke as Coventry closed the game out for victory.

Doncaster Rovers Belles were 2-0 winners at Aston Villa whilst West Ham Utd won theirdelayed Second Round tie with C & K Basildon on a penalty shootout (see match reports).

It was the same old story in the the F.A.Women’s Premier Leaguefor yet another week as the weather intervened once again and all ofthe scheduled matches last Sunday were forced to be called off. Wolverhampton Wanderers’ home match against Newcastle Utd was one ofthe victims of waterlogged pitches and the two clubs will make another attempt to playwhat is a very important match near the bottom of the Northern Division table. In the Southern Division, the game between Tottenham Hotspur and CardiffCity Ladies was also postponed but the South Wales side will hope for better luck thisweek as they host Lewes in another attempt to open up a lead of three points at thetop of the table. Third are due to meet fourth with Coventry City taking onPortsmouth, who are also aiming to make up further ground in midweek in a SouthCoast derby match against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Kelly Smith has been included in the England squad for the first time sincethe 2013 European Championship finals. The Arsenal player coach, who had a long standing calfcomplaint, has been drafted into Mark Sampson's 24-strong party that willcompete in next month's Cyprus Cup after having missed the Three Lions'opening four World Cup qualifiers. Every other player in the squadtravelled to La Manga last month for a week-long training camp whichculminated in a 1-1 draw with Norway. England won the annual Cyprus Cup last year and they will takeon Italy (on Wednesday 5th March), Finland (Friday 7th March) and Canada (Monday10th March) in Group A of the latest renewal. They will play one final game onWednesday 12th March against one of the other eight teams in Group B or C. Everton youngster Alex Greenwood could make her senior debut in Cyprus butthere is no room for Casey Stoney, who is still recovering following a foot operation. Sampson said: "I was pleased with the way the group worked in La Manga sothe most difficult part of selecting the squad was leaving people out who did well in thatcamp. "But I had to make some decisions and I have selected a balanced squad thatgives us many options, both tactically and in terms of the character of the team. "We have added Kelly to the group who is now back to full fitness so it is a greatchance for her to be involved again and get some game time at international level. "The Cyprus Cup represents another opportunity for us to grow as a group andfor me to learn more about the players. We will go there to work very hard."

C & K Basildon 3 West Ham United 3(West Ham won 4-3 on penalties)West Ham United earned an FA Women's Cup Third Roundtie with WSL2 team Watford by winning a penalty shootoutagainst South East Combination opponents C & K Basildonat Harlow Town. After sharing six goals in an even 120 minutes ofgreat intensity, four Hammers players were faultless fromthe spot and keeper Jessica Parlane saved the fifthBasildon effort to seal the win. After four fruitless attempts to stage the tie, a 3Gsurface ensured the outcome would finally be settled. WestHam started the better and took the lead on eleven minuteswhen a Cherrelle Albert corner from the right was headedhome powerfully by Emily Masters. Skipper Stacey Littlenearly added a second when set up by Albert then HannahGowland was denied by C & K keeper Mel Kinsalla as thePremier League club dominated. It was 25 minutes before C & K had a shot but they levelled on the half hour when theHammers defence failed to clear a corner and Karissa Rodney was able to shoot home from closerange. C & K dominated the rest of the half, Zoe Rushen shooting just over and Rodney goingclose with the last kick before the break. The second period was notable for both teams taking then losing the lead within a minuteas an absorbing contest hung in the balance. C & K gained the lead when a defensive slip let inRodney for her second on 53 minutes but Kelley Blanchflower levelled within a minute, forcinghome a loose ball at the far post. West Ham then had their best spell of the match and Kinsalla made three fine saves to keepC & K level. She dived to her right to keep out Albert's close range effort then was up quickly to tipBlanchflower's powerful follow up over the bar. Sarah McCrea was finding good space on the leftwing and her crosses were causing problems. However it was Gowland who put the Hammersback in front. After having one effort well saved, a super 25 yard strike gave Kinsalla no chance. However, within 30 seconds, C & K were level again when Steph Stephanou was fouled andskipper Jenny Brown-Wealls scored from the penalty spot on 78 minutes. Neither side looked like sealing the tie in normal time and chances were rare in the firstperiod of extra time as well. Sara Sinclair had a shot just wide and Kinsalla saved well fromGowland as the teams traded opportunities. A most unfortunate injury to West Ham's Gowland necessitated a lengthy stoppage and C& K finished the stronger, nearly grabbing the winner with the final touch. A Brown-Wealls free kickwas headed on by Claire Lacey and Sinclair hit a close range volley inches over. After such a closely fought encounter, the penalty shootout was one neither team deservedto lose. West Ham kept their nerve with McCrea, Lindsey Morgan, Albert and sub Lily Mellors allconverting in style. C & K missed their fourth kick, then Parlane dived low to her left to turn awaythe fifth effort and ensure the Hammers' progress. Both teams played neat, passing football and alternated periods of dominance and attemptson goal. It was easy to see why C & K Basildon are riding high in their first ever season atCombination level as they matched their opponents in all aspects of the game. However, it wasthe Premier League team who finally progressed to host Watford next Sunday.C & K Basildon: Mel Kinsalla, Charlotte Hopwood, Claire Lacey, Jenny Brown-Wealls, MeganLawley, Amy Nash, Carly Eagles, Zoe Rushen, Steph Stephanou, Karissa Rodney, Sara Sinclair.Subs: Robyn Strauss, Nicola Carty, Nicole Farmer, Charlie Dolby.West Ham United: Jessica Parlane, Vicky King, Lindsey Morgan, Danica Revell, Hayley West,Emily Masters, Kelley Blanchflower, Stacey Little, Cherrelle Albert, Hannah Gowland, SarahMcCrea. Aston Villa 0 Doncaster Rovers Belles 2A Sue Smith inspired Doncaster Rovers Belles swept into theFourth Round of the F.A.Women's Cup as two second half goalssaw them to victory at Sutton Coldfield. The Belles fielded a line up missing only the suspendedLeandra Little and the injured Ashleigh Mills from last season andthe veteran winger gave a great performance to help see her sidehome against a largely young Villa team which will improve in theweeks to come. Doncaster settled down quickly on the 3G surface at ColesLane with Beth England looking sharp early on and the strikerwent close as she won the ball from Abbey-Leigh Stringer in theVilla half and made her way forward but shot straight at CaitlinLeach. Naomi Chadwick hit the side netting with a lob from 25yards and Leach made a good save from England as she got onthe end of a Lyndsey Cunningham cross. Smith and Millie Bright both had efforts off target as theBelles continued to call the shots whilst at the other end, despite being driven on by the hard workingSherry McCue and some nice touches by Emma Follis, Villa were struggling to make an impressionagainst the Doncaster defence with Victoria Williams and Rhiannon Roberts showing up well. McCuehad their best effort on goal with a header but Villa would have been the happier of the two sides withthe goalless scoreline at the interval. This was to change just five minutes after the restart. Moments after having what seemed to bea good penalty shout turned down when Kasia Lipka went down in the area, Smith was tripped by EmilyOwen and this time a spot kick was awarded. Williams stepped up and although Leach got a hand toher effort, the ball found the corner of the net and the Belles were ahead. Before Villa could recover from the setback, they found themselves two behind. A clearly firedup Smith cut in from the right and drove at the Belles area where her shot deflected to England, unmarked and onside, and she kept her cool to pivot and steer a left foot shot past Leach. The home side were finding it hard to cope with the movement of Smith, who was causingproblems down both flanks, while Bright was commanding the midfield area and won a number ofimportant challenges. Villa's best moments were coming from half time substitute Sarah Mayling and the youngsterwent close after being picked out by a fine pass by McCue, cutting inside past Lauren Cresswell'schallenge before firing straight at Nicola Hobbs. Moments later Mayling was put through on goal butagain shot straight at the keeper. Villa were dealt a huge blow midway through the second half when England Under-19 captainMcCue was carried from the field with a knee injury before being taken to hospital after the game. Doncaster were given a golden chance to put the result beyond doubt with eight minutesremaining when Jess Sigsworth broke down the right and cut the ball back for Chadwick who wasdenied by a fine challenge from Dani Petrovic, Smith pounced on the rebound but was brought downand a second penalty was awarded. Williams again stepped forward but this time her shot struck theunderside of the bar and bounced away, Smith meeting the rebound with a header which was held byLeach. Villa were unlucky not to pull a goal back when Beth Merrick's well struck left foot shot from 20yards was superbly clawed away by Hobbs. The resulting corner produced a huge goalmouth scramblein which Villa players appeared to be queueing up to shoot at goal but somehow the Belles defencemanaged to keep the ball out en masse. The speedy Sigsworth was always dangerous on the break and one such run took her to theedge of the area where her shot was saved by Leach. Doncaster will be delighted with their first performance of the season following their controversialrelegation and are likely to be a big force in WSL2 this campaign. Villa had their moments during thegame and should do okay once the league gets underway in April.Aston Villa: Caitlin Leach, Erin Vaughan, Kelly Clarke, Sherry McCue, Dani Petrovic, Emily Owen,Emma Follis, Abbey-Leigh Stringer, Chloe Jones, Maddy Cusack, Olivia Fergusson. He said, “It isunusual to sign such a talented player so late into the pre-season.However I am delighted we had the opportunity to add Abbi to oursquad. I believe she is just the right type of player we are lookingfor. She has already shown in training this week that she will fit wellinto the philosophy of this club.

“Abbi has so many attributes that it is difficult to tie her downto one area of the pitch. She has great pace, is technically very good, very hard workingand her range of passing is superb. Yet probably her biggest strength is the fact that shecan play off either flank and combine play just as efficiently with either foot. I would like towish Abbi the best of luck in this next phase of what looks to be a very promising career.” Abbi herself commented, “I am very excited about joining Glasgow City for theseason ahead. I am looking forward to playing along side top class players and workingunder new coaches. I believe that this was the right time for me to move as it will developme further as a player.

“I feel very privileged to have been giving this opportunity and I'm looking forwardto the new season getting under way. I would like to thank Forfar for the past two yearsfor all the confidence they have given me and developing me as a player and person. Ihave made some great friends for life.”

The capture of Abbi adds to the signature of Julia Scott, who joined City earlier thisweek after previous spells in the SWPL and in England in the FA Women’s Super League.

"I'm looking forward to catching a game before the end of the season at Thornaby whereI've been promised a signed match ball! Good luck on Sunday ladies."

Sarah is one of several new sponsors MFC Ladies have secured this season, her TennisSmart business supports and maintains education while players aim to turn pro.

Charlton Athletic advanced to the Capital Cup final for the second year running as second halfheaders from Sam Pittuck and Kit Graham helped them to a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspuron Sunday. The evening game, hastily arranged after both sides’ scheduled matches were called off,was played on a 3G surface at Sporting Club Thamesmead and was a closely fought affair. The victory means the Addicks will now face either Queens Park Rangers or KIKK United atImber Court on Sunday 27th April as they try to defend their title.

There was a bit of rustiness on show in the opening period, with neither team havingplayed much competitive football in 2014. Spurs had the first chance as Wendy Martin blockedan attempted clearance by Stef Simmons but PHSC plc Player of the Match Megen Lynchpushed her shot round the post before saving an Andra Marcoci effort from the resulting corner. Just after that, Lynch launched a long goal kick towards former Tottenham captainPittuck, who took the ball down well and advanced on the goal but a defender recovered wellto make a challenge. Charlton’s best chance of the first half came when Robyn Downieinexplicably handled the ball just outside her own area and was almost punished as GraceCoombs’ free kick flashed just over. The final chances of a quiet period fell to Martin as sheheaded wide and then pounced on a poor clearance but an excellent last-ditch Katie Flacktackle prevented her from opening the scoring. The second half was better, with more chances created, although the visitors’ first camefrom a defensive error: Bianca Baptiste pounced but, despite being two-on-one with Lynch, shot wide. Charlton gradually got themselves into the game and some good build-up play sawPittuck head inside for Emma Harrison but her shot also flew wide of the target. Another good chance came for the home side when a cross evaded everyone in the areaand fell for Simmons but she snatched at it and the ball flew harmlessly over. Up the other endthe ever-dangerous Martin powered a header just over the crossbar for the north Londoners. Just three minutes later, though, Charlton broke the deadlock when Simmons sent apinpoint cross into the six-yard box, finding an unmarked Pittuck to score against her formerclub. Spurs could have been straight back in it, though, when a through ball found its way toMartin but Lynch did well to save again. The final blow was inflicted with ten minutes remaining when Coombs, making hersecond debut after returning from three years in America, whipped in an inswinging free kickand Graham’s header looped over the keeper and into the top corner.

LATE NEWS…Scotland were beaten 3-1 by Finland in their International Challenge Match atthe Eerikkilä Sports Institute on Thursday afternoon. Anna Signeul’s side had trailed at the break but were back on terms early in the secondhalf through a well taken goal from Kim Little. Scotland dominated the match for much of thesecond half but missed a number of opportunities to go in front and went down to two goals inthe last ten minutes, to give the home side victory.

Coventry City went through to the Fourth Round of theF.A.Women's Cup with a 3-1 victory over Stoke City, earningthemselves a home tie with either Plymouth Argyle orBrighton & Hove Albion. We spoke to Coventry's Welsh internationalmidfielder Hayley Ladd who told us about the team's delightwith their Cup run and aims to pick up a trophy this season:Was it good to be playing again following the enforcedbreak and back with an FA Cup win?It was really nice to be back playing in a competitive matchfor Coventry after what it seems to be ages! We're all reallyexcited about progressing as far as we can in the FA Cup soit was positive to have a good win at the weekend. Were you particularly pleased with the way the teamstarted the game, with the early goals?Considering we haven't played a match in a while, I wasreally pleased in how we played and especially getting those early goals helped us torelax a bit and to control the game better. That makes it six wins in a row in all competitions, do you feel the team has beenimproving during that time?Definitely. I feel especially at this point in the season we're approaching every game nowwith a really solid sixteen players and I'm confident that we can go on and win many ofthe remaining games left. What did you think of the draw in the next round, at home to either PlymouthArgyle or Brighton & Hove Albion?I think we are pleased as we avoided a Super League 2 team, but believe we're up forany challenge so would be approaching the next round positive and confident whoeverwe were drawn against. If you are able to get through that one, would you want a WSL team in the lastsixteen?Yeah like I said, we try not to be focussed on any particular team we are or not due toplay. That being said, the opportunity to potentially prove ourselves against a more highprofile/ better ranked team is something that we all are looking forward to and somethingwe would definitely love to do.Do you feel you are still in the running for the Southern Division title?Yes, definitely. With players returning or going to Super League clubs now for thesummer, the division will change a lot and seeing as our team hasnt changed, it puts usin a very strong position. You are also still in the Premier League Cup, the draw is not easy but are youconfident that you will be up for the challenge? We are very confident at the moment so yes, we will be challenging for a good finish inthe cup. Despite the draw, we have got very good strength in our squad now and soaren't put off by any big games. Is there firm belief within the squad that you can pick up a trophy this season? Our aim is to do the very best that we can and so if that involves a trophy, then that wouldbe a great finish to a positive season. The County Cup is our most realistic chance, butachieving silverware in the league or league cup would be that extra bit special.

This month's London FA Goals for Girls Festival tookplace on 8th February at the Crystal Palace NationalSports Centre. The festival was open for anyorganisations to enter such as schools, clubs and evenindividuals who may be looking to find a team. The festival took place on the indoor 3G domeand for many of the teams this was their firstopportunity to play football this year due to the dreadfulweather conditions we have been having recently. Twoage groups were participating, Under-11s and Under-13s and there were 15 teams taking part, which totalledover 100 girls in attendance. On this occasion we were fortunate to haveEngland and Arsenal goalkeeper Siobhan Chamberlainand also Millwall Lionesses player Leanne Cowan andManager Alberto Kurti present to meet with the girls, sign autographs and have photographs taken. Siobhan Chamberlain commented: "It's fantasticto see so many young girls here playing football andthere has been some really good talent on display." With Millwall Lionesses Ladies FC announcinglast week that they would be playing their WSL 2matches at The Den this season, it was a greatopportunity for Millwall to expand their local fan baseand encourage the girls to come and support them. Leanne Cowan said: "It's great to see so manygirls here at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre;it brings back some great memories of playing here inthe London Youth Games. We hope that as the localWSL club some of the girls will be keen to come downand support the Lionesses at The Den this season." The afternoon was a great example of how wecan bring girls together to get plenty of match time in afun and relaxed environment without needing to keepscores and having a winner. Events like this are a greatopportunity for newly formed teams, schools andgrassroots clubs to come together and give girls' theopportunity to play football in a fun and relaxed football. Another benefit of these festivals is for clubs tohelp with recruiting new players through links that theycan make with the local school teams that enter. As well as the girls having a great afternoon offootball and benefiting from the flexible format, it wasalso an opportunity for three young officials to gainsome invaluable experience by officiating the matches. Emma Barnes, Women's & Girls' FootballDevelopment Officer, London FA says: "Today hasbeen fantastic and the turnout has exceeded allexpectations. The girls have all played with a smile ontheir face and shown how girls' football is going fromstrength to strength in London. By having Siobhan andLeanne here the girls were able to be inspired bywomen who have made it to the top level in the gameand it was great to see how excited the girls were whenthey met them."

Llanyrafon Ladies beat holders Cardiff City Ladies to book their place in the 2013-14FAW Under-16 Girls Cup Final at a blustery Cardiff Met University on Sunday afternoon. On a perfect 3G pitch in Cyncoed, the teams had to battle with the elements asthe side from Gwent played into the strong wind in the first half. The territorial advantagein the opening half belonged to Cardiff despite Llani' keeper Jodie Buck's fine kickinginto the wind. But against the run of play, Kevin Sims' side Llanyrafon took the lead fiveminutes before the break and it was a goal that was worthy of winning any tie. Midfielddynamo Georgia Groves unleashed a terrific 30-yard strike which sailed into the top leftcorner, leaving City 'keeper Erin Brennan with no chance. In the second half, Llanyrafon dominated both possession and territory and hadseveral opportunities to extend their lead. Ffion Llewellyn had three early chances asher pace enabled her to get beyond the City defence. Her first chance went wide, thesecond deflected for a corner and the third was a fine strike, but Brennan saved well. The best move of the match came midway through the second half as Llanyrafonbuilt well from the back, but Jessica Williams' shot sailed just over. Swansea City moved into the top three of theShared Access Welsh Premier Women's Leaguewith a 5-1 victory over Llandudno Junction. In the only match in the league to survivethe bad weather, the Swans took a fifteenthminute lead through Emma Beynon and KatyHosford doubled their advantage leading up to half time. After the break, Kelsie Davies renewed hopes for Llandudno when shereduced the arrears within five minutes of the restart but midway through the secondhalf, Jodie Passmore restored control for the Swans. Passmore went on to find the nettwice more in the last ten minutes to complete a hat-trick and continue her side'ssteady climb up the table in recent weeks. Sadly Northop Hall Girls FC have informed the Welsh Premier Women'sLeague panel that they are withdrawing from the League with immediate effect. The club have struggled to attract senior players all season and felt that itwould be unfair to continue until the end of the campaign with a depleted side. Theyhave taken this difficult decision sooner rather than later to protect the integrity of theLeague. All of Northop Hall's results this season will be expunged and obviously allremaining matches will be cancelled. This will also mean that only one club will berelegated from the Shared Access WPWL at the end of this season. Elain Owen, first team manager, commented: "Making the decision at thispoint hopefully brings less disruption to the League and the Club as a whole. In theshort term it may not be a positive outcome, however continuing would have had amore detrimental effect upon all. "Having a high standard women's league within Wales is a great achievementand something which every player should aim to be a part of. We wish all clubs everysuccess for the remainder of the season."

Northop Hall’s resignation has meant a re-calcuation of the league table butthe standings have not been too badly affected, although Cardiff Met Ladies’ lead atthe top has been extended to seven points from Cardiff City FC. At the other end ofthe table, Caernarfon Town have nowlost their only victory to date and theytrail Aberystwyth Town by three points.

The fixture schedule for thisSunday has been greatly reduced dueto the quarter finals of the FAWWomen’s Cup taking place. Llanidloes and Port TalbotTown will make another attempt to playtheir League Cup semi final withCardiff Met Ladies awaiting thewinners in the Final. One match is also due to takeplace in the league, Newcastle Emlynplaying host to Llandudno Junction.

Essex cruise into semi finalsEngland striker Evie Clarke netted twice and Katherine Gee and Beth Blacklock also converted asEssex’s Under-16s Girls secured a semi final spot in the national cup with a comfortable four-goalvictory away at Dorset.

Starting the game off with an attitude to win, the girls dominated the pitch and forward MiaghDowney had three shots on goal inside the opening fifteen minutes. Leading up to half time, there wasno score on the board until Clarke decided to ensure the team’s hard work paid off by sliding the ballpast the goalkeeper into the bottom of the net after a one-on-one thanks to a fantastic through ball fromCaptain Emily Baker. A goal ahead, but will hail stones falling from the sky at full blast, the pressure was on Essex tohold their game as Dorset started the second half with more aspirations to win. However, winger Geechipping the ball beautifully over the ‘keeper and into the back of the net to give Essex back the firethey started with. With two goals as their cushion, and with a hunger for the Semi-Finals, Essex kept on top of thegame, controlling the central midfield and overpowering their opposition’s defence and strikers. Theirpersistence soon paid off with a long distance goal over the custodian’s head from right-backBlacklock. The late goal spurred the team on towards another goal and, with four minutes left, Clarkeadded a fourth to seal the win.
