Responsibilities:

Anti Fraudulent Claims Recovery System (AFRS) is the process detecting of fraudulent claims filed by the physicians. Detection is primarily based on the clinical criterion using CPT codes and ICD codes.

• Involved in gathering specifications from the client and designing of the process.• Working in close association with the Clinical coding team and statistics team.• Technical support as an application developer supporting primarily SAS and UNIX

shell script applications. • Development of SAS code to extract the data from oracle, DB2 etc. and create

datasets, format the data, create reports and presenting the necessary information in varied file formats.

• Develop, test, implement and document the SAS code for various clinical procedures like Haemorrhoidectomy, Platelet Rich Plasma, Acupuncture, etc. and for drugs like Leucentis.

• Modification of older programs with hard-corded data values with Macro programs to enhance the flexibility, reusability.

SEAAL (SAS Environment Advanced and Analytical Lab) is the process of migration of whole AFRS process to new server with using advanced shell scripting, Unix/Linux and SAS skills. Test on new testing server and then introduce in production new server.

Responsibilities-• Creating the directory structures across the new server (testing server) with the

UNIX commands.

• Migrate the all sas codes programming of AFRS process from previous server to new updated server (testing server) at respective locations via UNIX environment

• Modify all the sas codes of AFRS process and directory paths for input and output as per the new server (testing server) requirements by shell scripting and UNIX coding with sas codes.

• Analyzing the process on new server (testing server) with sequential and parallel testing.

• Cross validation with the previous server for outputs, volume of outputs and timeline of process.

• UAT(User acceptance test) for other teams to review and access to data new server(testing server).
