Strategic & Capital Purchase:

Manage Procurement activities from development & implementation of the sourcing strategy. Develop, implement and lead overall supplier strategy for commodity area, including simplification,

ensuring sourcing process integrity, and optimize productivity, quality and fulfillment. Development and communication of forecasted requirements to external suppliers. Negotiation for Commodity based in different geographical location. Collect and analyze category data, and develop the internal and external category profile. Obtain competitive bids, analyze costs and negotiate/award contracts to vendors on the basis 

of total costs to the company commensurate with financial risks, quality standards, and delivery capabilities

Maintain awareness of world markets. Maintain clear documentation and audit trail of procurement activities Build and maintain vendor relationship with the objective of reducing cost and eliminating inefficiencies

throughout the supply chain Work with internal customer to ensure Service Level Agreement. Contribution in Productivity.

Main Purpose of Job: To ensure and execute the procurement activities with best price ,quality and timeline for all manufacturing and co manufacturing units of CBU India Danone Nutricia in align with Global SSD team.

Role: -

1. Leadership

Responsible for the development of the supplier audit plan, coordinate its execution, ensure audit reports are registered and corrective actions are followed up.

Manage the Supplier audit database. Actively involves/ coordinates in Kaizen, ICR and other workshop related to cost. Interact with Central Capex Purchase on quality, cost related compliance and performance related issues. Supports Supplier Development in the development/ improvement of key High Risk suppliers.

People Development

Train and develop people with negotiation skills Establish and develop factory Purchasing system (SOP). Train and develop people for SAP (MM module). Train and develop people to carry out Risk Assessment of supplier and evaluation of supplier confidence.
