With a name originating from the nickname Desperado (Rado for short) and him simply being “da boss”, RadoDaBoss was formed. He has left his mark on the local music scenes with his raw lyrics and art of storytelling. Since his early years, he had the urge to perform music and entertain audiences. Rado pulled inspiration from artists such as Michael Jackson, Sade, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, and Scarface. These musical influences encouraged Rado to pursue his passion for music. In 2001, Rado released his first record with the group, YNR called the “Strongarm Collection”. The album was circulated and Rado’s voice definitely made an impression on local supporters. Rado then moved on to perform at clubs in New Jersey, Pennsylvannia, Virginia, Maryland, and Florida. He has opened up shows for artists like Beanie Segal, Trina, Wu-Tang, G-Dep, and others. The performances led to a collaboration with Money Malc, another rising Jersey rapper, where Rado was featured on his album. After which, they helped to form the movement “The Scrilla Squad” in 2008. The movement released albums called “Get Familiar Wit Us”, “Real Niggas Is Back In Style” and their recent 2010 mix tape release, “We Back Winning”. Rado worked on a solo album “Determined to Make the Haters Hate”, which he released in 2008. His popularity grew once he joined the Jumpofftv Battle Circuit which some battles appear on Comcast On Demand. Currently Rado is working on another Scrilla Squad Street Compilation. He continues to pursue his passion for music with his children as his inspiration for success. Rado sees the sky as the limit when it comes to his music career and wants to be known for his lyrical and great song-making skills.
