For the past 12 seasons, the Blue Jackets Radio Network has consistently been a true partnership between the Blue Jackets and our affiliate radio stations. We provide each of our affiliates with the resources and support that enable each station to:

Bob McElligott

Veteran broadcaster Bob McElligott enters his fifth season on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and his first season as the play-by-play announcer. McElligott previously spent 10 seasons serving as the broadcaster for the Syracuse Crunch, the Blue Jackets’ former American Hockey League affiliate.

PROGRAMMING PRE-GAME SHOW The 15-minute pre-game show sets the scene for that night’s broadcast. Listeners get to go inside the Blue Jackets locker room for in depth interviews with head coach Todd Richards, Blue Jackets players and assistant coaches, as well as comments from the opposing locker room. The show also includes coverage of breaking news from around the NHL as well as the keys to victory. GAME BROADCAST All 82 regular season games, plus pre-season contests, are aired on the Blue Jackets Radio Network. POST-GAME SHOW The interactive show features game analysis and guest appearances by members of the team and coaching staff. An abbreviated post-game show is produced for all road games.
