On-board radio components arrive mounted securely inside this water-tight compartment. A spring wire hold-down secures the lid, and waterproof boots seal the radio box exits.

The CNC-machined, lightweight aluminum turn fins installed on the port and starboard sides provide the best straightaway and left/right handling.

Cooled by a water jacket, the engine’s custom-tuned 2-stroke “quiet” pipe reduces noise levels to approximately 80db — making this the most welcome boat of its kind at any lake or pond.

AquaCraft also includes a stainless steel exhaust header for extended life, and a vibration-isolating gas engine mount that reduces structural stress — another example of how the Rio 51 is built for performance and long-lasting durability.

Designed for fast, easy fueling, the Rio 51’s fuel tank allows uninterrupted run times of up to 30 minutes when full. The model uses a mix of regular unleaded gasoline and 2-cycle oil — a convenient and economical way to enjoy marine action.
