Absmcr-It is known that mo bile comm unication systems are
sus-ceptible to radio-frequency nterference (RFI) generated by
automo -tive ignition ystems. In this paper the utom
otivegnitionnoisegenerated by individual engine cylinders is
investigated. Using speciallydesigned instrumentation, the
pulseamplitude densities of individualcylinder ignition noiseare
measured and analyzed.It is found hat he gnitionnoise generated by
