Low Voltage Battery DisconnectThe LVBD module adds a new dimension to battery backup power supplies. The power supply simultaneously charges the battery and powers the load. If the AC power fails, the battery continues to support the load. However,when the battery voltage drops below a pre-determined level, the LVBD module disconnects the battery from the load, thereby protecting thebattery from the damaging effects of complete discharge.
