CIV SUPERSPORT300 - 1° Vannucci e 3° Hugo De Cancellis

The fourth round of the Superbike CIV championship took place on 31 July-1 August at the Misano World Circuit. The following week saw World Superbike compete at the Most Circuit in the Czech Republic.

The seventh race of the Italian Superbike series played out onSaturday evening at Misano. The night-time format was a newconcept, introduced specifically for this round, and it made foran incredible show. Sunday’s race took place in the earlyafternoon, the YSS riders battling from start to finish andscoring important championship points.

The fourth round of the Supersport 300 series which took placeat Misano was a real spectacle. The YSS riders werefrontrunners in the races, battling consistently for the positionsthat count.Both races were dominated by poleman Matteo Vannucci onthe Junior Team AG Yamaha Supported. Frenchman Hugo DeCancellis and Italian talent Mattia Martella on the ProdinaRacing Team battled hard for the top positions, with Hugo ableto reach the podium in Sunday’s race.

A bittersweet weekend for the YSS riders in the PreMoto3 at theMisano World Circuit, during the fourth Italian CIV round. RiccardoTrolese now leads the championship, two points ahead of hisclosest rival. The other YSS riders had difficulties thatunfortunately compromised their races during a weekendcharacterised by high temperatures, which conditioned andcompromised the performance of both the bikes and riders.

The fourth round of the National Trophy season lived up toexpectations, with some exciting and hard-fought racing. In theNT1000 Saltarelli, scored a fantastic podium, having proved tobe a main player during the races. In the NT600 and Big Sportclasses, both YSS riders worked hard to develop in theirrespective categories.

The Supersport 300 world championship stopped off at theMost circuit in the Czech Republic, a brand-new track on theWorldSBK calendar. Buman completed a solid qualifying withthe Yamaha. Some unfortunate episodes compromised DeCancellis’ race, the French Kawasaki rider always part of theleading group but unable to score what he deserved.
