They show that they can be independent as well. Some of them work as waitresses, cashier, blog shop owners and even tutors. As a waitress, they might know how difficult it is to deal with unhappy customers and realize that they have to depend on their own. They learn to no rely on their parents that much anymore and have a rough idea of how tiring it is to work. Therefore, independence is an advantage of working during school holidays. Secondly, another advantage is it helps them to realize the love of their parents for them. When they experience work, some may realize how hard their parents work for them to buy food, clothes and to provide a house to live in. Hence, some will turn more filial towards their parents. For example, they might start appreciating their advices and love by doing what is right for them. Previously, there will be a lot of rebelling teenagers. But after working, some may start to mature more and be understanding. Furthermore, they may reciprocate the love to their parents and give some of their work salary to them even though it is not much. Firstly, one of the advantages of teenagers working during their school holidays is independence. Many teenagers work and earn money on their own.

Thus, teenagers working can be very advantageous for them to be understanding and filial.

On the other hand, there are disadvantages too. One of them is it is dangerous. Some teenagers work when they are only fifteen or sixteen, and they are still quite young. They can get scammed or bullied if they are not careful enough and this can worry their parents For instance, a teenager may come across an advertisement on the internet claiming that they are hiring, but they are actually scammers who want them to pay a particular amount of money to them. As a result, this will not only be a failure on finding a job, but they were also scammed and lost their money. Other than that, kidnappers may also target these people. They might bring them to a place and cut off their limbs to make them beg for money. The teenager will lose his or her limbs and even make their parents heartbroken. Thus, looking for a job is especially disadvantageous for teenagers as they do not know that these might happen.

Lastly, the next disadvantage is their studies might deprove. Some teenagers do not know how to balance work and studies. They could be so focused on making money that they do not study at all. They neglect their studies, and it will lead to failing their subjects. It is still okay if they work part time and study when they are free. More of them though, do not care about studying after they got a job anymore. They feel that studies are no longer important since they already know how to make money. Their results will then slowly get worse and their future may be ruined. Their parents would also not want that to happen. Another problem is that when school

starts, some might continue working and skip school. This will lead them to be kicked out of the school. Hence, it is a disadvantage to work as they might neglect their studies.
