• Patient Conversation video, Injection Safety webcast, Key informant interview collaboration, CME course, engaged workgroup
Nevada Received funding 2009 – 2011 Successes:
• Passage of SB 419 – Injection Safety Attestation, partnership with state broadcasters association, movie theater ads
State Health Department Successes New Jersey
Received funding in 2010 Successes:
• Injection Safety Ambassadors, PSA, Community College Allied Health outreach
North Carolina Received funding in 2012 Successes:
• New hire for position, working group kick-off is later this month!
State Health Department Successes Colorado
After a 2011 incident, the state health department’s HAI program:
• Started a workgroup• Decided on targeted messaging• Reached out to One & Only Campaign for materials• Creating local partnerships
Montana An active State HAI Coordinator ordered enough copies
of the SIPC Training video to disseminate to directors of nursing in all hospitals across Montana
