Jana is a significance supporter of Ascend's mission to empower Pan-Asian leaders and grow the next generation of professionals to "break through the bamboo ceiling", through professional mentorship. Jana serves as the CFO for Commercial Aviation Services (CAS) Customer Support at Boeing. In this role, she is responsible for the leadership of financial planning and reporting, cost management, accounting, estimating and pricing for CAS Customer Support. She is a member of the CAS Customer Support Leadership Team and the CAS Finance Leadership Team. Prior to this assignment, she was the Enterprise Services Business Management Director at Boeing Shared Services Group (SSG). In that role, she was respon- sible for delivering high quality, lean, affordable financial products and services that support running a healthy business. Prior to joining SSG Business Management, Jana led the SSG Ac- counting Operations organization, including Cost Policy, General Accounting, Financial Accounting, Global Accounting Operations, and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) 404 Program Management. In 2004, she led the SOX section 404 implementation for SSG. Jana is the Boeing Executive focal for Ascend and the Executive Champion for the Boeing Asian American Professional Association. Jana is the proud mother of a 16 year old son and enjoys golf, shopping, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She is a second-generation Chinese American, although her married name, Yamamoto, is Japanese. In support of her heritage, she enjoys participating in various events & organizations such as the Walk for Rice, the Kin On Chinese Nursing Home annual golf tournament, and the Seattle Asian Sports Club.
