Purpose:• To establish a collaborative team with the
knowledge, skills, and capacities to deploy the professional development priorities of RttT statewide. (specifically, those articulated in section D5.)
Outcomes: By the end of “Boot Camp” team members will have a(n):
• Strong sense of team
• Common vision of the scope of work for this team
• Common baseline of knowledge related to:– 21st Century Skills– NC Teacher Evaluation Process– Strategies for Facilitating Change– Components of High Quality Professional Development
• Understanding of important housekeeping expectations
• Understanding of areas for growth/development of collaborative leadership skills
• Plan for initiating regional actions that must occur prior to the Summer Institutes
