On 9 June 2016, a thousand property industry runners will descend on Clapham Common for the 20th LandAid 10K race.

With a brand new venue, a fundraising target of £100,000 and our biggest ever field of competitors, the LandAid 10K is set to be the property run of the year.

With your training in progress and race day right around the corner, everything you need can be found in this pack.

Whether you’re striving for a PB, training for something bigger or making your running debut, you’ll be sure to enjoy our new fast course and festival atmosphere. Feel free to enlist some support on the day too - bring family and colleagues to cheer you on as you sprint for the finish line.

Remember to keep up your fundraising efforts too - every pound you raise goes to helping end youth homelessness. Find information on where your money goes on page 7.

GOOD LUCK! Lastly, don’t forget to follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and tag your race-day photos with the hashtag #LandAid10K. We’ll be with you every step of the way!

We would like to thank long-standing supporter Bilfinger GVA for sponsoring the LandAid 10K again in 2016.

Over the years Bilfinger GVA has helped raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for LandAid’s work with vulnerable children and young people. Without its support, the LandAid 10K wouldn’t happen. So from everyone at LandAid and on behalf of all our beneficiaries, a huge thank you!

OUR HEADLINE SPONSORBILFINGER GVA

“At Bilfinger GVA we are delighted to once again be the headline sponsor for this year’s LandAid 10K summer run. As this is LandAid’s 30th anniversary year, we are also pleased to celebrate the excellent work that they have done so far, and to help them in their new mission to end youth homelessness in the UK. Together, we can make a huge difference to this issue, which affects more than 80,000 young people.” Gerry Hughes

COURSE MAP

The courseThe race course is 2 laps of Clapham Common.

The race starts and finishes on a stretch by the Bandstand. It is mainly flat terrain with some hilly areas and will involve running on grass, trail and concrete paths. The course involves no road crossings. It is a scenic route with cordoned off areas and numerous stewards to help you along the way. We do our best to keep the general public off the course but you may still see some stragglers, so be aware!

Why fundraise for LandAid?

Every day of every year, thousands of young people in the UK are homeless. Many are forced to sleep in overcrowded hostels, on public transport, or worse still, on the streets.

Now, more than ever, we need your support.

By raising a minimum of £120 through the LandAid 10K, you can help us to protect young people on the streets, provide accommodation and training and tackle the root causes of homelessness.

Together, we can end youth homelessness.

FUNDRAISEGet started!

Begin collecting. Create a fundraising page at mydonate.bt.com/events/landaid10K2016 and ask friends to donate. Tell them to Gift Aid their donations too.

Spruce up your signature. Personalise your email signature to let the world know that you are participating in the 10K

Put the kettle on. Make tea for your colleagues for an entire week and get them to pay for the privilege!

Match your money. Many employers offer a matched funding scheme. Ask yours if they’ll match what you raise.
