ments. The group is putting more iron in the fire to have such facilities on other locations as well. The dream has come true through the vision-ary leadership of group CEO and whole dedicated team of Raaziq group. Going forward, the group is cautiously
optimistic on the business prospects. The
current crisis has given us the opportu-
nity to consolidate our investment and
streamline our operations to achieve a
higher level of efficiency. We should also
focus on induction of more and more
technology and automation as it is one
of main key to success. We need to de-
velop at least three year growth and
strategy plan which must take the group
to new horizon and advancement in lo-
gistics industry. The immediate priority is
to retain existing customers as well as to
enlarge our customer base and new ser-
vice offerings. I am confident that the
experience and visionary management
and staff will rise to overcome these
challenges and will take the group to
new horizons and height.
Our country is passing through a very critical and important phase as law and order situation is getting worse day by day, recent flood has badly disturbed the economy of our country. Inefficient and bad governors have shortened the buying power of our countrymen. The crises of electricity and natural gas have tremendously increased the cost of do-ing business. The global financial crises is considered as severe economic reces-sion since the recent times. Conse-quently it has caused a devastating ef-fect on our economy especially the ser-vice sector. This is clearly characterized by the failure of many business sector, tremendous fall in the consumer wealth and significant decline in the economic activities. As a result of the said situa-tion, anxiety and desperation is prevail-ing among in our countrymen. Our busi-ness is not being spared by this un-precedented event too. Despite the above facts, our group has shown sizeable growth, a number of new companies have been established and these companies are on track and started penetration in the market. With this persistence the company is ex-pected to elevate its status of being the leader in the market. The management has invested a huge capital on develop-ing assets, construction of head office building, warehouse at Lahore, Karachi are the recent examples of these invest-

Management’s Message
Organize:
In order to be able to mul-titask, the most important thing is that you need to be organized and every-thing you are dealing with should be planned. If you are not organized you can-not efficiently handle the tasks simultaneously and in the end you might end up wasting more time in switching between tasks rather than saving time.
Prioritize:
You need to make a sched-ule and prioritize all the tasks that are at hand ac-cording to the level of im-portance. When you have a scheduled list, you can very easily handle two or more tasks at the same time without wasting any time at all.
Start With Simpler Tasks:
If you are new to multi-tasking, it is bets that you start with simpler tasks in the beginning as they will be easier to handle. Trying to multi task on difficult projects can lead to failure and frustration which might deter you from
In very simple words, mul-titasking is handling multi-ple tasks at the same time without compromising on a single task. The ability of handling multiple tasks at the same time makes you more efficient and produc-tive at work.
Who Can Multi Task?
There are many people who consider that multi-tasking is an inborn talent that cannot be acquired by practice. There is also a group of people who be-lieve that women are naturally better at multi-tasking than men. Both these schools of thoughts are wrong as anybody can learn to multitask. While it is true that there are some people who are naturally good at multitasking, there is nothing to say that mul-titasking cannot be learnt or acquired by practice.
The Basics Of Multitask-ing:
Multitasking is not as diffi-cult or complex as it sounds and one can learn to multitask by following a few basic steps such as:
learning to multitask.
Finish Pending Jobs:
If you are working on a single or more jobs make sure that you finish them before turning to the next one. If you leave jobs un-finished and start new tasks every other hour, at the end of the day you will have worked very hard but not finished a single job.
Delegate Tasks:
A very important part of multitasking is delegating work to the team mem-bers. As a manager you can distribute work effi-ciently to make sure that the results delivered are on time and up to the mark. You need to realize that not all tasks can be accomplished by a single person so it is important to share the burden. Handle Tasks Without Delay: If you wish to multitask, you need to be able to deal with each and every job as soon as it lands on your desk. Do not leave tasks for later on if you

Multitasking – your way to the top
have the time to get them done now. Leaving jobs for later is never a good idea as it leads to work piling up and wasting more time in getting it sorted. Take A Break: Even if you are trying to get used to multitasking, there is no harm in taking a break every now and then as it will help in re-leasing the stress and when you are more re-laxed you can deal with the jobs at hand in a more efficient manner. Split tasks into smaller jobs: Some people find it hard to work on a big project as the task seems too daunt-ing and huge. This prob-lem can be easily solved by breaking the task into smaller parts so that each part can be dealt with as an individual job. This will help in improving your performance by teaching you how to multitask and once you are done with the small tasks your big project is already com-pleted.

trucks were permitted to carry goods only to the Pakistan-Afghanistan bor-der at Torkham.
Afghan trucks will be al-lowed to carry goods to the Wagah border, but they will not be allowed to carry Indian goods to Af-ghanistan. In return, Paki-stani trucks will be allowed to go through Afghanistan to central Asia, Iran and Turkey.
Analysts are of the opinion
Islamabad, Oct 7 (IANS) Pakistan has granted per-mission to Afghan trucks to carry export goods to the Wagah border for on-ward dispatch to India, a minister said.
The federal government Wednesday approved a revised Afghanistan-Pakistan Transit Trade Agreement that allows Afghan trucks up to the Wagah border. Under the old agreement, the Afghan
that the agreement was a failure of the US initiative that was meant to provide India a land route through Pakistan to Afghani-stan.
Afghan goods will be permitted to pass through Pakistan only in sealed containers having tracking devices and goods will be re-examined and certified while leaving the border at Torkham.
The European Union's (EU) decision to liberal-ise the import of 75 Pakistani goods would strengthen the coun-try's export after flood devastation. According to experts, the move would not only support the country's textile sector but also help to overcome the impacts
of catastrophic flood. After the tariff relaxa-tion, they said, the country is likely to achieve the export tar-get of $21 billion during the current financial year. The overall in-crease in exports by the end of June 2011 may register almost 10 per-cent which is set in the
