ATR VERDICT: MOGUL was easy to back for the Futurity Trophy once it was switched to Tapetalast season and finished no better than fourth. However, the form was rubber stamped when thewinner, Kameko, landed the 2000 Guineas recently and, now stepped up in trip, Aidan O'Brien'sGalileo colt is expected to come into his own and throw down a decent marker for the Derby. The battlefor second could be won by Arthur's Kingdom, who might be deployed as a pacemaker but, in thissmall field, could be given a canny ride by Frankie Dettori. The unbeaten Mohican Heights is bred torelish this stiffer test and looks best of the rest. Top Tip: MOGUL (2) Watch out for: ARTHUR'S KINGDOM (1)

ATR VERDICT: Aiden's Reward has been raised 3lb for scoring over this trip at Newcastle inFebruary and is expected to mount another bold bid, though preference is for EL JEFE, who left behindhis novice form when third on his nursery bow at Pontefract in October, a performance on which he'sentitled to build this afternoon. Bankawi is rated 4lb higher than when scoring over 7f at Catterick lastsummer but it is possible there could be more improvement to come from her over this longer trip. Top Tip: EL JEFE (2) Watch out for: AIDEN'S REWARD (6)

ATR VERDICT: The King's Stand is usually one of the highlights of the Royal meeting but with withBlue Point and now Mabs Cross retired and connections of exciting Irish raider Sceptical ducking therace, this looks an ideal opportunity for BATTAASH to end his Ascot hoodoo. Charlie Hills' sprintmonster is yet to win at this venue in three attempts but he has proven his own worst enemy at times, getting too worked up in the preliminaries, so a behind-closed-doors meeting will probably work in hisfavour this year. Furthermore, in all fairness, his second-placed finishes behind Blue Point in the lasttwo renewals are still the strongest pieces of form on offer and he could afford to run well below hisofficial rating and still win this contest. Glass Slippers was a surprise winner of the l'Abbaye last seasonand needs to prove she can back that effort up this year. A bigger danger may be Equilateral, a quirkystablemate of the selection who might be best at a flatter track but does go well fresh. He wonimpressively on his first start in Meydan following a gelding operation but needs to improve again ifhe's to finish in the same postcode as the favourite. Top Tip: BATTAASH (1) Watch out for: EQUILATERAL (2)

ATR VERDICT: BLAZING HOT lost little in defeat when second over this trip on debut at Newcastleand is expected to put the experience gained that day to good use to strike second time out.Continental cost 240,000 pounds as a yearling and made her debut behind a smart, experiencedwinner at Newcastle earlier in the month. She should take a forward step now she has the benefit ofthat run behind her and appears the main danger ahead of Bay Filly Rolla, Quick Recap andSendacard, all of whom showed promise as juveniles. ATR VERDICT: SENECA CHIEF returned from a break to strike over this trip at Wolverhampton onFriday and, now turned out swiftly under a penalty, Daniel Kubler's six-year-old is taken to swiftly followup. Our Man In Havana has been raised 1lb for finishing second over 6f at Lingfield in the spring but isexpected to show up well from a low draw this afternoon, likewise Bernie's Boy, who was defeated byonly a neck off 2lb lower over track and trip in March.

ATR VERDICT: Nazeef won three from four as a three-year-old and showed that she has trained onwhen readily winning a Listed contest on her seasonal reappearance at Kempton earlier this month. She looks rock solid and has to go close, but JUBILOSO is potentially a notch above. Sir MichaelStoute's charge can be forgiven a disappointing effort in Group 3 company at Sandown when lastsighted in August, her third in last season's Coronation Stakes proves she's much better than that andthe vibes have been positive ahead of her return to action. With her stable going great guns since theresumption of racing, she is fancied to get her exciting career back on track. Stablemate Queen Powermade a pleasing return at HQ and is respected, as is the unbeaten Miss O Connor. Top Tip: JUBILOSO (5) Watch out for: NAZEEF (8)

ATR VERDICT: ELECTRIC MISTRESS was unraced as a juvenile but ran with plenty of promisewhen second behind a smart runner from the Tim Easterby yard at Newcastle on debut. Karl Burke'scharge is entitled to build on that very promising introduction this afternoon. Easterby sends out aninteresting contender against her again in the shape of newcomer Pattaya, who changed hands for375,000gns as a yearling and is a half-sister to four sprint winners. Seas Of Elzaam has place claims ifrunning to his mark, while Richard Fahey's newcomer Unapologetic merits a market check. Top Tip: ELECTRIC MISTRESS (8) Watch out for: PATTAYA (1)

ATR VERDICT: National Hunt/dual purpose trainers have an excellent record in this race and NickyHenderson, who struck in 2011 with Veiled, saddles the very interesting VERDANA BLUE today. Theeight-year-old has a Grade 1 hurdles victory over dual Champion Hurdler Buveur D'Air under her belt, amongst a number of cracking efforts in that sphere, and she was a fair fourth in the Group 3 SagaroStakes when last running in this code 13 months ago. Her latest start was a fourth-placed effort behindsubsequent 2020 Champion Hurdler Epatante over timber at Kempton in December so everythinglooks in place for a huge run here, with Ryan Moore booked to ride. Amongst the dangers are recentHaydock scorer Moon King and Land Of Oz, who made a pleasing reappearance at Chelmsford. Top Tip: VERDANA BLUE (1) Watch out for: MOON KING (10)

ATR VERDICT: ALMURR failed to see out the trip when fading into fourth over 7f at Chelmsford inFebruary and could relish the return to sprinting this afternoon. Phillip Makin's charge remains only 3lbhigher than when scoring at Wolverhampton over this trip in January and gets the nod. Mr Wagyu hasdropped 16lb lower than his last winning mark and is dangerously treated ahead of his seasonal return, while there could be more to come from recent Newcastle scorer Quanah. ATR VERDICT: FURLONG FACTOR shaped encouragingly on her racecourse debut at Chelmsfordlast week, running well from the front for a long way before fading into third. The experience gainedthat day is unlikely to have been lost on Rod Millman's charge, who is taken to strike second time out.Boot Scootin Baby and Northbound are similarly expected to come on for their debut outings, while anymoney for Go Greta or One Day would be worth heeding.

ATR VERDICT: Poppy May went close in a classified stakes contest at Southwell in March and isexpected to remain competitive, over the same trip here, now returned to handicap company. However, with the benefit of two recent runs to her name, WHO TOLD JO JO shades the vote. JosephTuite's charge is penalised for his victory at Yarmouth last week and ran creditably at Kempton onFriday. Tawaafoq is drawn wide but has place possibilities. Top Tip: WHO TOLD JO JO (1) Watch out for: POPPY MAY (7)

ATR VERDICT: ZAMAANI shaped encouragingly in a 5f novice race on debut at Newmarket 12days ago and is entitled to improve for this additional furlong to take a forward step. Golden Bear, whoturned in a creditable display when fourth over this trip on debut at Kempton two weeks ago, isexpected to show up well too, while Archie Watson has made a fine start to the season and his Zaisanis worth a market check first time out. My Next Guest and Twaasol are other newcomers to monitor inthe betting. Top Tip: ZAMAANI (11) Watch out for: ZAISAN (10)

ATR VERDICT: IRISH TIMES won cosily when getting up on the line to land a classified stakescontest over course and distance in March and should be thereabouts if running to a similar level ofform now back in a handicap. The main danger may be Lacan, who finished an outpaced fourth over 6fat Southwell in March on his first start for Mick Appleby and could appreciate this additional furlong.Red Skye Delight usually goes well here and, debuting for Christine Dunnett, is another to note. ATR VERDICT: BONUS left behind his juvenile form when exploiting an opening mark of 55 on hishandicap debut at Yarmouth last week. Now turned out under a penalty for that comfortable success, and with the benefit of a recent run to his name, Jim Boyle's charge could prove popular from a gooddraw. Hot Hot Hot, Harbour Point and Ivadream have place possibilities, while, of the handicapdebutants, Gherkin and Sacred Legacy are potential improvers to consider. Top Tip: BONUS (1) Watch out for: GHERKIN (11)

ATR VERDICT: A very trappy contest in which the sporting selection is WRATH OF HECTOR. Thethree-year-old has been assessed on his sprint form for Tony Newcombe but he's stepping up in tripon his handicap debut here, having been gelded, and is now having his first start for Mick Appleby.Broughtons Compass merits consideration on his first start following wind surgery, while Sea Willow isinteresting in the first-time cheekpieces. Top Tip: WRATH OF HECTOR (9) Watch out for: BROUGHTONS COMPASS (10)
