ESP-400The ESP-400 is an award winning add-on panel that is used with an existing zone panel. As zone dampers open and close, the static pressure sensor continuously monitors the system static pressure. If the static pressure goes above the static pressure setpoint, the panel will send a signal to all non-calling zone dampers to begin opening to a point where the static pressure setpoint is maintained. This eliminates the need for a conventional bypass damper.

EB Series electronic bypass dampers are used to automatically bypass excess air when increases in duct pressure occur due to closing of zone dampers. The EB Series dampers utilize a floating-point actuator along with the iO-SPC static pressure control. The iO-SPC has a fully calibrated setpoint dial for easy setup and adjustment. The iO-SPC maintains the system static pressure by modulating the bypass damper. EB Series electronic bypass dampers are recommended for systems from 0.08” WC up to 1.20” WC of static pressure.

The Zone One two-position, stand-alone damper is a control damper assembly designed to solve over-heating and over-cooling problems. It can be used to control a single room, or by using multiple dampers, it can zone multiple rooms. The damper is wired to a thermostat in the room or area that is too hot or too cold. Using a duct temperature sensor mounted on the damper, the damper will open or close to help maintain setpoint based on the air temperature in the duct system.

WIRING SUGGESTIONS

The most common method used to run wire inside the duct work are as follows:

1. Drill a hole in the register boot and run the wire in a conventional manner.

2. Use a fish tape to pull the wire through the duct.

3. Use a duct cleaning vacuum machine to draw a plastic bag with an attached line to pull wire through the duct.

If wiring from actuator is run inside the duct work, plenum rated wire must be used.

This modulating, stand-alone damper is a control damper assembly designed to solve over-heating and over-cooling problems. It can be used to control a single room, or by using multiple dampers, it can zone multiple rooms. The damper is wired to a thermostat in the room or area that is too hot or too cold. Using a duct temperature sensor mounted on the damper, the damper will open or close to help maintain setpoint based on the air temperature in the duct system.

The modulating VAV Diffuser is used to vary the supply air volume from a wall-mounted thermostat. This diffuser is designed to maintain coanda effect (draft free) of discharge air along the ceiling, providing a sustained discharge velocity throughout the volume range. Operating the diffuser from an individual wall-mounted thermostat enables the user to choose their desired comfort level. The wall-mounted thermostat will give closer temperature control and eliminate the need for a step ladder to adjust the setpoint of the diffuser.

Sequence of Operation:Heating ModeThe GEO Panel interface panel is designed to control a radiant floor heating system and a forced air heat pump from a 3 stage heat / 2 stage cool thermostat. On a call for first stage heat, the panel will energize the radiant floor pump or valve by closing a set of dry contacts. The fan will also be brought on at the same time. The contacts are labeled ‘FL’ on the panel terminal strip. On a call for second stage heat, the panel will energize the first stage heat pump compressor. On a call for third stage heat, the panel will bring on the electric auxiliary heat. If the unit has a second stage compressor, it will not be used during the heat mode.

Cooling ModeOn a call for first stage cooling, the panel will energize thefirst stage heat pump compressor and fan. On a call forsecond stage cooling, the panel will energize the secondstage compressor. The GEO Panel is for heat pumps that energize thereversing valve on a call for cooling (O).

The Geothermal Interface Panel is designed to control a geothermal radiant floor heating system and a forced air geothermal system from a single room thermostat. The iO-GEO panel eliminates the hassle of installing a second thermostat because it integrates the radiant floor heat as Stage 1 and then the geothermal forced air heat pump for Stage 2.

The easy-to-install Dual Fuel Kit can be used with heat pumps and fossil fuel furnaces having up to 4 stages of heating and 2 stages of cooling. It works by turning the heat pump off at a pre-determined outdoor temperature permitting the fossil fuel furnace to run in order to reach the room thermostat setpoint. Includes snap track mounting and outdoor balance point thermostat.
