PLUM BRANDY (SLIVOVITZ) - classical R. JELINEK plum brandy produced

in three stages of distilling of matured fermented plums. The 120 year long

tradition of manufacturing plum brandy in the R. JELINEK company is

GOLD PLUM BRANDY - gains the unique harmonious taste and the golden

color from maturing in oak barrels. The taste is very smooth with the barrique

bouquet.

WILLIAMS PEAR BRANDY - this elegant and unique spirit manufactured from

juicy South American pears of the variety Williams has an excellent pear fra-

grance and a typical long aftertaste of the riped pear.

APRICOT BRANDY - a genuine spirit with a long tradition which is made by

triple distilling of the ferment of well-riped apricots. After maturing for a year

spirit acquires a pleasant fragrance and taste of apricots.

CHERRY BRANDY - a fine distillate made of a late variety of black cherries

has been produced by RUDOLF JELINEK distillery for many generations. The

distillation procedure is based on an original recipe. Typical cherry spirit keeps

the taste and scent of the fruit, with fine hints of cherry stone.

MORAVIAN APPLE BRANDY - the pleasant scent of mature apples from

Moravian region characterizes this genuine spirit. Repeated distillation and

long maturing period results in an aromatic, delicate, slightly sweet drink.

Unique distillates are distilled in the most modern distillery Holstein which is

capable of preserving the typical aroma and taste of a particular fruit.

Nowdays the company offers 14 kinds of distillates, such as Mirabelle, Raspberry,

Blackcurrant, Brambleberry, Quince, Strawberry, Bierbrand, Red mountain ash,

Blackthorn, etc.

BLACKTHORN - sloe brandy is a very special spirit from the fruits of wild

blackthorn bush. Only fruits harvested after the first freeze may be used for

processing. The tannins contained in such fruits result in pleasant taste.

MIRABELLE - this interesting spirit of the delicate aroma and flavor is produced

only from fully matured fruits and wild varieties of yellow plums. Fine and novel

scents and flavors will surprise you.

BIERBRAND - is made by distilling of fresh PORTER black beer. The spirit

acquires an intensive bouquet and flavor of malt and beer.

VIZOVICKÁ PLUM BRANDY – the outstanding product of our portfolio.

Vizovická plum brandy is a limited edition made by distilling of plums

exclusively from own orchards. By purchasing the fields and planting its own

orchards, the company RUDOLF JELÍNEK returns to the tradition of fruit tree

plantation in the region of Vizovice. Currently the plum orchards cover over

50 hectares of land with more than 20 thousand trees and further expansion

is still in progress. White plum brandy is a spirit produced from the single best va-

riety of plums of the current year. Golden plum brandy matures on dried plums,

according to the traditional recipe. The spirit matures for at least 365 days and

each bottle has its number.

BOHEMIA HONEY - liqueur, which combines the three years old plum brandy

with the natural linden honey. Natural honey aroma with a light fruity tone of

plums creates a fresh taste.

VINPROM TROYAN is the biggest and best known Bulgarian manufacturer of

fruit distillates, especially of the plum rakia. The company is based in the city

of Troyan situated at 160 km northeast from Sofia, under the mountains of

Stara planina, and has very favourable climatic conditions for plum growing.

The beginning of the manufacture of plum rakia dates from mid-19th century.

The basis of the product portfolio is the plum rakia, which is delivered to the

market as “obyknovena” or “otlezhala” aged plum brandy that matures in

oak barrels. The oldest Troyan plum brandy on the market is named “Family

Reserve”, with the maturation perod of at least 25 years. The company also

offers other fruit distillates made of apricots, pears, cherries and apples.

biggest manufacturer of fruit distillates in Romania. Valco products are availa-

ble in the majority of retail chains. The Romanian language has several traditio-

nal names for plum brandy and fruit distillates.

TUICA - low-degree distillate made from plums only.

PALINCA - usually 40 % distillate, the name is protected for the regions of

Transylvania and Hungary.

HORINCA – 50 % plum distillate, its name is used in the province of Maramures

only, in the region associated with the best plum brandy in Romania.
