What would the world be like if it was run
cnliiely by children? The possibilities are
explored in a new CREEPY swies written by
Culos Trillo entitled The LmI Recess. In the
first instaUment, a mysterious plague sweeps
over the earlh, killing off all die adults. Only the
children survive! Perhaps inevitably, the
youngsters who once were friends s[dit into two
dislina groups: those srfw want to live in peace,
and the leatber-jackeled. knifc-widding gangs
wlio prefer lo savage the land in the name of
fun." The Last Recess features some of tlie
most dramatic ariwork ever to grace the pages of
a Wairen publication. "Ilie new scries debuts in
CREEPY «46.
Moonstone and Jan and the Titad are two newseries upcoming in VAMPIRELLA, In the
former, a voluptuous barbarian womanjourneys across vast wastelands in search of the
answer to a fantastic riddle. Her quest leads her
into some perilous predicamenls,,,battling sub-
humans, monstrous beasts, and her own sdf-
doubts (sounds like a day on die uncmplcyment
line, doesn't it?). Rudy Neljres is illustrating the
series, which is scripted by BID DuBay.Jul and the Tifad is currently being wrinen by
foimer Warren editor DvM AlEkas. In this new
series, a young wotnan uncorks a strange bottle
and out pop not one. ..not two. ..but three
genies—each with its own identity, its ownpowers, and its own motives! Poor Jan never
knows beforehand which genie is going to
answer her summons, .setting the stsne for somewild fun. You'll see this one some time after the
New Year, ..if we can gel PaWo Marcns to stop
partying long enough lo draw il!
THANKS, J.R!Wow were we blown away when reader Jim
RhodK mailed us a VAMPIRELLA magaaneindex, complete with interior cover illustrations
and expoential notations highlighting ibe most
impartanl developments in the magazine's 14
year history! AittI to think he did it wiUwui lb
even asking...! Jim's pamphlet (actually almost
a magazine in itself) lists all the stories, along
with ailists' and writers' credits, from evCTV issue
of VAMPI, from numbers 1-109, It's an
invaluable research guide, and we'd like to lake
the time to officially compliment Jim on his
excdlent work. Thanks, J.R! TlieVAMPI index
sure will come in handy around here!
(Gosh, , .now ifwecould only talk him into doing
ones for CREEPY, EERIE, and 1W4 !)
THE GREAT DEBATE!fbe CB1-;KP\ 1, i>utrinLTS> tus raged lor years:
what kindi of clones rcaUy belong in CRUPY?Here's your chance to tell us what you ihink.
Should CREtPY run just short horror tales?
Or is there room for science-fiction and fantasy?
Should the Slories be a fixed length? What about
book-lengih epics? Would you like to see series
introduced into CREEPY, or remain siriaiy in
EERIE? Should we bring Iwek "ihenie issues"?
Think about it. And after you've done thunk,

Granted, we experimented withdropping the letteteols. but nowthey're bEick. And we do answer let-

don't aak smy questions; if they did.

connects in between the TV and stereoHowever to do this, the TelecJapIer perlormsthree important functions, first, it provideschassis isolation, lot protection of the stereo,
when used with TV's that have hot chassis.
Second, Teledapter matches the Impedancemismatch between a TV's output and that ot
a stereo input. Thirdly, but hardly the least, it
givesasimulaledstereoeffect, not jusi monoout both stereo speakers, but actually simu-lated stereo, a different signal for both thefight and left inputs on the stereo

THE SOUNDWords are hard pressed to describe thesound of a car on TV squealing arourtd a

Ihe living room to Ihe other. Or the crowd at aball game, the crack of the bat, the whisltes,
as though you were on the playing field Andmusicals, the pounding of the drums, the lin-
