Fixings required• Galvanised or sherardised round plain head
nails (2.65-3.75mm diameter) for U-Clips, Z-Clips and Post Cap
• 4 x 10mm expanding bolts for each Bolt-down Support. Follow manufacturer’sguidelines when selecting & fixing bolts

INSTALLATION GUIDEThe quick and easy way to erect a fence
Check position of any underground services andother major obstructions (large stones, etc). Mark out line of fence and drive in the firstQwikpost® Spike with the Drive-in Tool andsledge hammer, using short firm strokes. Ensurethe Qwikpost® Spike is positioned with the boltsat 900 to the line of fence.

After every few strokes check vertical alignmentwith spirit level and adjust as necessary. Checkhorizontal alignment and adjust. Drive in untilthe box of the Spike is just above ground level.

Fix Qwikpost® U-Clips to fence post withgalvanized or sherardised round head nails. Use at least two clips per side of each panel. Clips should be positioned 200-250mm from topand bottom of fence panel.

Place fence post into the box of spike and tightenthe bolts until secure.

Locate fence panel into U-Clips and secure with galvanised nails. The bottom of the fence panelshould be positioned just above ground level.

Drive in second Qwikpost® Spike at the end ofthe fence panel and repeat steps 2 to 6.

Use the Bolt-down Support base as a template tomark position of holes and drill to suit 4 x 10mmexpanding bolts (not supplied). Ensure the boltsin the Qwikpost® are positioned at 900 to the lineof the fence.

Place bolt down support over the bolts andcheck for vertical alignment – it may benecessary to pack under the base. Tighten thebolts to secure.

Square off the base of the broken post.

Tap the Repair Spike in between the old post andthe concrete base until the box of the RepairSpike is just above the level of the concrete. Ensure the bolts in the Repair Spike are at 900
to the line of the fence.

Place new fence post into box Repair Spike andtighten the bolts until secure.

INSTALLATION GUIDEDig hole, at least 450mm square by 450mm deep(for a CON75) and partially fill with concrete.

Place Concrete-in Post in centre of hole, ensuringthe box is slightly above the finished level of concrete. The bolts in the Qwikpost® should bepositioned at 900 to the line of the fence. Checkthe post for vertical and horizontal alignment.

ground prevents use of a Qwikpost® Spike• Accommodates 75x75mm and 100x100mm
fence posts
Fill the hole with concrete ensuring the concretefully surrounds the legs of the concrete in Postand allow to cure (at least 24 hours) beforeinstalling the new fence post.
