Can you believe Christmas is in just 6 months……does not seem possible. It is true though, so we will be having some Christmas in July sales this month! Have you seen the new winter and Christmas fabric that is in? Beautiful!!!

Row by Row started June 21st We have already had people from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Georgia! Don’t forget you have till Sept 6th to play! It's like a shop hop, but it's not... no fees, no cards to stamp! Simply visit any of the participating shops and receive a free pattern for a row in a quilt. Combine your rows in any way to create a unique quilt that represents the fun you had traveling throughout the summer. Travel with friends, discover new quilt shops and have fun collecting rows! Creative Hands Word Search July & Summertime

Celebrate your own Fourth of July with this easy (but super yummy) dessert!

Fourth of July Blueberry Strawberry Dessert

Ingredients:

8 oz of low-fat vanilla yogurt

8 oz Cool Whip topping

4 cups sliced strawberries

3 cups fresh blueberries

1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine yogurt and vanilla. Fold in Cool Whip. Stir

just enough until blended. Layer Cool Whip mixture in

pint size mason jar. I started with a layer of blueberries.

Then a layer of the Cool Whip mixture, a layer of sliced

Strawberries then just keep layering until you reach top of mason jar. Add last layer of Cool

Whip topping and finish with a strawberry.

Chill for an hour before serving. These are so good and easy to make. The vanilla yogurt almost

makes it taste a little like cheese cake.

“Then & Now” We did the “Then” double wedding ring in April so now we get to do the “Now” class later this summer. We will wait till August so that you have time to finish your “then” quilt! The “Now” quilt is made by using a “quick curve ruler” Make sure you go ahead and sign up because space is limited! Rag Quilt Class –Got old

Lucky 12 Saturday Sampler Quilt (12in blocks)

begins in August! It's a fun opportunity to pay $12 for your first block and get the next 11 for free! On the first Saturday of each month (for 12 months!), we will meet from 11 AM to 12PM. We will have a door prize, show and tell, refreshments and Lucky 12 (and something special is always on sale!). To receive your blocks free you must follow the rules: 1 - Sign up & pay $12 Registration by July 12th. 2 - Purchase your first block in August for $12. (Plus tax) 3 - Bring your completed block in to show in September (and each month thereafter.) 4 - Arrive before 11 AM. 5 - Stay for our brief presentation and occasional demo. 6 - If you are not present by 11AM or are unable to attend, your next block will cost $12. 7 – Have fun You will receive one ticket for the door prize drawing and another ticket for any show & tell you bring. Plan on joining us. No sashing, binding, borders or backing included. This hint of what our first block willl look like! Our colors may differ a little however!

playful 3D blocks that you could

almost grab! We will be using

solids, blenders and small scale

prints in light, medium and dark

shades from the same color family

to make each lively block! The

best thing about this quilt is that

there are NO Y seams!! So come

on and join us for this class. We

will meet 2 times (July 30th

August 13th

New Stuff, Old Stuff, and Just Sew you know stuff!!!

Open Sewing– Did you know that you are welcome to come and sew at the shop anytime there is not a

class scheduled??? Did you know that there is about 60-100 years of quilting experience here at the

shop on any given day?

B & B Day (that is backing & batting day) Just bring in a completed quilt top on the 15th of each month

and get 25% off the backing & batting *applies to regular priced fabric & batting

Note: B&B day in February, May & August will be the 17th

Class Policies Class Registration:

All classes are filled on a first-come, first serve basis. Classes fill FAST and are limited in size. Registration

fee is due at sign up. Phone registrations are welcome with a credit card. Class Refund Policy: We may cancel a class if the minimum number of students is not met seven days before the class begins. If we

cancel a class we will gladly refund your money.

If you need to cancel or withdraw from a class please let us know as soon as possible so that we will not

continue to cut kits for you, no class fee refund will be given if the class has already started. No registration

refund will be given, however, will gladly transfer your registration to another upcoming class!

General Rules:

1. As a courtesy to others, no babies or children under 8 are allowed. Children over 8 are welcome to attend if

they have paid the regular class fee and are accompanied by an adult registered for the same class.

2. Please arrive early for classes, as they will begin on time.

3. Please check each class description for supplies you need to bring or come early and we’ll be happy to assist

you with finding what you need (a discount of 20% off will be given on class day only for any purchases)

Going Green – Creative Hands is going green, so to help us and to help our world please bring your

own bag from home! If you remember to bring your own bag then you will be entered to win a $20

Creative Hands gift certificate that will be awarded each month!

Quilting 101 Please note reschedule date! Classes will begin in Sept. for a series of 6 classes. This is a

beginner’s class for people that have sewing experience. Registration fee $5.00

Book: $15.50 (class price), regular price $21.95 Instructor fee, $80.00 (Half due at first class, balance due 2nd class) This class fills up fast please let me know if you are interested so
