DESCRIPTION
Mara Celani's design and production of furnishings. My professional experience in interior architecture and my passion for the art of photography impelled me to conceive and realize a line of furnishings that range from decorative wall panels, to lampshades and printed curtains. My achievements include numerous decorative projects based on the decor of walls; using panels bearing prints from my repertoire of photos; dimentionally adapted and printed in accordance with the environmental characteristics of the location to be decorated.

Formats

Canvas prints
3 cm thickness 5 cm thickness
High resolution prints on Epson canvas 250 gr/sqmare stretched onto a concealed wooden frame.
D-bond prints
Prints are executed directly onto a D-bond aluminium support or onto self-adhesive PVC on D-bond. D-bond is a 3 mm thick panel, comprising two aluminium sheets with a nucleus in polyethylene. Concealed scantlings are glued onto its back for a neat-and-easy fix onto the wall.
Wall décor
Quid divinum photographs are best envisaged within interior decoration projects. Developing my prints from a selection of self-shot photographs means imagining them in harmony with each environment amongst various supports and several available forms.Pictures are printed onto canvas, D-bond, wall-paper, aluminium, Plexiglass and, of course, onto special types of paper.On my website: <www.quiddivinum.it> all my newly accomplished projects get published on a regular basis.Quotations can be asked for at: [email protected]
Printed lampshades
To realize my printed lampshades, my choice of photographs falls on those images and patterns that can be permeated by light.Their geometrical shapes are pure and contemporary. Their realization is handcrafted.The lower part of these lampshades is protected by a panel of white canvas that allows for the uniform diffusion of light. The electricity-supplying leads on these lampshades are independent of their steel suspension cables.All materials employed are flame resistant.
“Craque”The lampshade “Craque” is a triangular prism with curved faces that measure 80cm per side, is 45cm high and works off three bulbs. It is suspended by means of three steel cables anchored to a metal plate, which is fixed to the ceiling.
“Tralicci”The lampshade “Tralicci” measures 120cm in length x 60cm in width x 80cm in height. It is suspended by two steel cables and holds two bulbs fed off loose leads.
An accurate decoration project starts with a location survey.Digital snaps of the location allow for a simulation of the effect that a specific image can produce on the wall, thanks to a photo rendering.
